Nanny Part Time - Our family is looking for an engaging, kind, a...

Part Time $20 – 30/hr Starts 01/01 Duanesburg, NY
Our family is looking for an engaging, kind, and caring nanny to help look after our wonderful 2-year-old son on Wednesdays starting this January, with potential for additional days if desired. One of the parents will be working from home so there will be back up support/help available at all times. Our goals of care is to provide our son with positive attention, stimulation, socialization, and exercise on our busy days -- he is a very cheerful, sweet, and playful guy! Competitive pay starting at $22/hr. We look forward to hearing from you! Health and nutrition is very important to us. We do our best to ensure a safe environment for everyone who enters the home by diligent hand washing, vaccinations, and surveillance for symptoms of illness. We take extra care in the food we prepare for our son, who has a nut allergy. It is also really important to us that he learns by example how to communicate with kindness, patience, and respect for others. Dancing to music, playing with trucks/cars, digging around in the dirt and collecting rocks, and creating very expressive works of art We like him to stay actively engaged with activities and being stimulated to learn new skills. Help with his speech and motor skills is greatly appreciated, as is any help with potty training. Care is most heavily needed during the mid morning and mid afternoon (he tends to take a long midday nap). Interest and experience in early childhood education. An active play style that involves age-appropriate outdoor activities, arts/crafts, and music is a plus. This is a private residence with plenty of room for parking, but you will need to drive to get here. No pets
