I am currently taking new clients part time in Placer County only (From Auburn to Colfax). I've been in the medical field for 20 years. I started as a CNA and then became a Medical Assistant. I then attended college and received my Associates Degree, nursing pre requisites, and minor in Psychology. I've been in home health care for 10 years and recently worked as a Medication Tech for 4 years. I'm still continuing my nursing education and working with aging adults is what I love and will continue to do. I am first aid & CPR certified and Medication Aide certified also. I have excellent references including clients and previous supervisors. I have worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia residents for 10+ years & have an advanced education and experience with such clients. I also have extensive experience working with Hospice. I hope to be able to help you and your family during this time of need. Thank you, Nichole

Nichole took care of my mom during her last 6 weeks of life. She jumped right in to provide excellent care for my mother when her care needs were complex due to congestive heart failure, dementia and urinary retention. She was a very quick learner and I felt my mom was is good hands. She was always friendly and time efficient. Nichole provided compassionate care during my mom's last week of life on hospice staying up all night so we could sleep. She was a calming presence when we needed it most. I can't say enough good things about her care. We highly recommend her for any caregiver position.

Dementia & Alzheimer's Care Specialist

This is just a small bio of my professional experience in the working field as a dementia and Alzheimer caregiver, although my personal experience dates back to when I was just an 8-year-old child who used to help out an elderly neighbor who suffered from dementia, and epileptic seizures. She taught me to crochet, and in return I kept her company. My professional experience is this; Experienced Alzheimer's and dementia caregiver. Provided non-medical in-home care and assistance for seniors and disabled adults. Current certification in First Aid. Closely worked with and monitored patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Provided cooking, cleaning, and companionship. Full incontinence care, showering, feeding meals, handing out medications, and charting. Implemented physical activities for movement, and mental stimulation. Demonstrated unwavering patience and understanding; diffused extremely anxious and traumatic situations for confused patients.

Jacqueline performs her work beyond expectation. We hired her to take care of my aging father, who has since passed away. We were so impressed with her performance that we became reliant on progressively higher levels of responsibility: med re-fills, doctor's visits, hospital stays, social activities. She is very good at her tasks, reliable, punctual, takes charge of the situation. She has excellent people skills, polite, kind, communicative, and respectful. She cares.
