Seeking a summer babysitter/nanny near Wilmington for 2 beautiful boys, Monday - Thursday all summer long. The boys are 19 months apart and will be 5 and 6 years old until the older boy turns 7 in early August. They love to swim and we are members of a local pool. They do not need to be accompanied into the water but always love to play if you're up for it! They will likely join the swim team this year, and so rides to and from practice will be needed. We are a laid back family, the boys are well behaved, but be warned they do enjoy being silly, as in hide-around-a-corner-and-try- to-scare-you, silly. They like to draw, color, read and practice math. We are members at the Museum and they like going up there to see the Dino's and animals. We would expect some reading or math be done and they play outside for a while before any screen time on most days. They have small chores like cleaning their rooms and putting clean clothes away. We want them to be able to have a summer vacation. To us, that means some days will be lazy, some days will be crazy, and many, if not most, days will be spent at the pool. Comfortable With Pets: We do have an energetic dog. Scarlett loves people, she loves to snuggle (she's about 50 pounds), she is great with the boys and goes to doggy daycare 2 or 3 times per week to burn off some energy. If she became a problem, sending her out 5 days can be discussed. Light Housekeeping: House should be neat when we get home, dishes in dishwasher, etc. Help with laundry would be great, mostly the boys and some sheets/towels. I won't ask you to wash our (the parents) clothes. Has Own Car: May need to take boys to and from swim team practice, and will be taking them to the pool nearly every day. About the child(ren): Two boys, 5 and 6. They are sweet boys who love to swim, we have a pool membership nearby and they do not need an adult in the water with them. They love animals. If you like going to the pool and either swimming or catching some sun, and don't mind dogs, this would be a pretty sweet gig!
