Responsibilities: - Organize creative activities and educational games (e. g. drawing, crafting and puppet games) - Prepare children's meals and feed them (including bottle-feeding for babies) - Schedule nap times - Teach children appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful to each other and helping out with chores - Transport children to and from school and extracurricular activities - Tidy up play areas - Ensure children's safety during indoors and outdoors activities - Take care of children in case of injury or illness - Perform housekeeping tasks as needed - Work with parents to ensure children's growth and social development Requirements and Skills: - Previous experience as a Nanny - Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children - Multitasking skills - A pleasant and patient personality - A clean driving license - High school diploma/GED; further training in child development is a plus - First aid certification is a plus We are a Christian family. We value honesty, interfaith, and loyalty. Our kids are passionate about being outdoors. They love to go for walks around the neighborhood or to the local playgrounds. They are filled with energy. Our kids need help/support with learning educational material that's age appropriate for them. Very energetic and happy spirited. Have a passion for kids and not be in it just for the money. Be knowledgeable about caring for kids as well. My home has parking but not access to public transportation. We have 3 pets. 2 Bullies and 1 Chihuahua. All of our fur babies are friendly and mild mannered.

Family in far south Austin is seeking a Nanny to tag team with Mom in caring for 3 active boys (and a baby on the way next summer). The children attend part-time school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and once/month on Fridays. Location: Austin, TX 78739 Start Date: 1/23/2023 Ages: male 09/2017, male 08/2019, male 05/2021, baby due 07/2022 Days & Hours: M/W 7a-5:30p, Tu/Th 1p-5:30p, F 8a-4p (38 hours) Pay Rate (pre-tax): $28-33/hr Benefits: 10 days of vacation per year, 3-5 days of sick time 8 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day Job Description "We are a fun-loving family with 3 boys ages 5, 3, and 18 months. The boys are funny, kind and well-behaved, and they are definitely all boy. That means lots of running, wrestling, chasing, racing, yelling, etc. It's a lot of fun for someone that can go with the flow! The 2 older boys attend a private Christian school 2 days a week, and want someone who will help us lead our boys towards Christian values." Duties will include: Providing care for the children, including dressing, preparing meals and snacks, putting down for naps, etc. Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities that promote growth and development such as books, music, walks, play, arts/crafts, games, activities, etc. Keeping the common areas and children's area tidy (e. g., wiping down counters, loading/unloading dishwasher, doing children's laundry) Keeping parents apprised of low supplies Transporting the children to/from activities (excellent driving record required) Nanny should be: Confident, experienced, and knowledgeable about infants through elementary-age children, and have experience caring for multiple children at the same time An excellent communicator Reliable and punctual Mature and responsible Fun, easy going, and personable, while being able to maintain boundaries Active (did I mention 3 boys??) and engaging Kind, caring, and patient Proactive about planning activities (Mom's Best Friend also sends out weekly themed curriculum ideas to placed nannies) Plus, but not required: occasional date nights or weekend sitting, possible travel (not heavy) in the future The family is Christian and is looking for someone who will respect and model their values. Dad works from home a few days a week, and Mom does not work outside the home.
