Hello, My name is Elise and I love being a nanny! Currently I work in the mornings in a Toddler Day School here in Norfolk. My hours for this are 6:30-2:30 for the summer, then 6am-2 p.m. once the school year starts. I am looking for a family who would like a little bit of after school care, or a couple families looking for date night or potential weekend help. Preferably on the Norfolk side. I have a full resume with experience and references from the past 7 years of child care with families, Including working in a toddler library program, church nurseries with toddlers, and teaching pre-ballet for two years. I have a background in art and illustration, love crafts, art project and activities outside. I have a clean history and background, am a safe driver with my own transportation, non-smoker, and am fine with pets and light house cleaning. I appreciate you taking the time too look at my profile! Thank you

Elise is working with us temporarily until she can be placed in a position with more hours, and we are so sad that she can't stay with us for longer. We have two boys - 2.5 and 3.5 - and they require hyper-vigilance and tremendous energy from their caregivers. Elise has met their challenge. She is energetic but can be calm when the time is right. She plays with them outside most of the day and keeps them happy, entertained, and safe. She is kind and knows how to anticipate their needs and also how to head off disasters. She is creative and smart in her approach to childcare, and she is an open and honest communicator. What more could you ask for in a nanny?
