Who Am I?
I have been working with children full-time for over 15 years as an elementary and middle school teacher. I have worked with a variety of wonderful children from infants to high school young adults. I enjoy working with children because I have the ability to develop strong relationships by ensuring them that I am a person can trust who will offer them support in any area they may need. Most importantly as a nanny/babysitter, I must build strong relationships with parents who are entrusting me with their most precious babies and their home. I am honest and will always do my best to fulfill the need of the parents as needed. As a teacher, I not only taught my students content knowledge, but I also provided them with what I believe is most important which is character development and nurturing. Although I am not their parent, I believe that when I am with them, I am responsible to love and care for them as my own.

I have always had a love for kids and because of that love for kids I've had the blessing of caring for children of all ages in many different settings such as tutoring centers, church nurseries, my own home and their homes. I began taking care of kids at our church nursery. I looked after kids who were just a couple weeks old to about 5 years old. I worked in our church nursery from about fifth grade until junior year of high school. Through out my high school years I also babysat for about four different families. I took care of kids from ages six months to 10 years old. Once I graduated high school I was a math tutor at a tutoring center and had the great opportunity to teach kids 5 years old to 12th grade. After college, I was a nanny for a little girl, seven hours a day for three to four days a week. I took care of her starting when she was 4 months old until she was almost 3 years old. I've been blessed with a lot of opportunities throughout the years of serving families.

While I was at Providence College, my niece was born. Soon after she was born I found my true calling, caring and helping to raise her. Yes, I left College to raise my niece and it was the best decision I ever made. The years and time spent molding her into an amazing, smart, and independent young lady have been my favorite. I have always loved children and had a special connection with kids. After my niece started school I started working in retail. Mother's with children loved to shop with me because I would sit down with their children to color, give them stickers and just give the mom's a second to breathe. Years passed in the retail world and I have recently found myself asking if I was living my purpose in life and what I was doing to help others everyday. It dawned on me that I was at my happiest while raising and caring for my niece everyday. I look forward to finding the right family to help with their family and homes.

I am a mother to a baby boy with loads of experience caring for children. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education. I have worked as a teacher, behavior specialist, early intervention director, and preschool caregiver over the past 10 years. I am looking to leave the world of care-giving within a facility to nurture children within their homes and communities. I bring the value of educational knowledge to inspire children, energy to play and grow, and drive to explore the community surrounding your home. I would love to bring my son with me while I care for your family. I hope we can work together to make little smiles daily.

Partially Retired Mom Looking To Share Her Love And Patience
Let me be the person to help you nurture, and care for your children. I have raised two wonderful daughters that are hard workers, intelligent, kind and compassionate. They are both in college now and I m ready to give my love, patience and compassion to another family. I want to work with a family where the kids can trust me and look forward to my visits. I m an incredible housekeeper, enjoy crafts and cooking. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a degree in Homeland Security and I spent 12 1/2 wonderful years in the Air Force. I decided to get out because I was deploying from my children too often. It was the best decision I ever made, as I have truly enjoyed every day I have been able to stay home with my children. In addition to raising my children, I have fostered kittens for the past four years for Cat Rescue. I have lived a very fortunate and blessed life and would love to share my warmth with other families.
