With numerous neighbors, cousins, my little brother, and working at schools in Nicaragua and the U. S., I have had a life-time of caring for children. I enjoy making children laugh and feeling important. My interests are dancing, reading and cooking. My husband has a law internship in Boise this summer, and we are going to spend the summer here in Boise.

By accident, I started working as a nanny 26 years ago. I love my job. Safety and healthy is my priority when taking care of your children. After 26 years and still in contact with the first baby I took care of. I feel very blessed to be part of a child's life.

In middle school and high school, I babysat weekly for two different families. One family had a 5-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter. The other family had two boys, ages 8 and 9 years old. I also babysat occasionally for a family of four girls, ranging in age from 5 to 11. I was the children's church director at my family's church for four years. In my senior year of high school, I was hired to teach eighth grade English at a missionary school in Mexico City, Mexico, where my family lived. In the summer of 2009, I was a summer day camp counselor at a YMCA camp, working with the kindergarten and first grade group. The following summer I worked at the same camp with second and third graders. From the fall of 2008 through spring of 2011, I worked at the nursery of a large church, with infants, 2 and 3-year-olds, and a group of home-school children ages 6 to 10. From September of 2011 until July of 2012, I worked full-time as a nanny/mother's helper for a family with four children. My duties included teaching the three oldest children, who were all home-schooled, transporting the youngest child to and from preschool, driving the children to music lessons, preparing meals, doing housework and laundry, and caring for the family's two dogs when they were out of town. From August of 2012 until April of 2013, I worked part-time as a private tutor for a home-school family with two boys, aged 11 and 14. I tutored the 11-year-old in math and assisted him with writing. I worked extensively with the 14-year-old in Literature, Debate, Latin, Philosophy, and other subjects. From August of 2013 until the present, I have worked with a family with three children, currently 11, 14, and 15 years old; I work with them as a private tutor and teach them Spanish. From February of 2013, I have worked as a nanny for a family with 3 children ages 6, 3, and 10 months. I have a passion for challenging children to expand their knowledge and understanding. I believe that children are full of potential and eagerness to learn, and that the more this excitement for learning is encouraged and guided, the better equipped they will be to interact with the world around them and grow up to be balanced, happy individuals. I love to spend time with children and hear the unique way they think about the world.

I love children and have enjoyed working with them for over 12 years. I'm currently nannying for a family with two girls- 9 and 11, but am looking for work during July and beyond. I have a background in Spanish Education and psychology. Teaching children new things and watching them grow is especially rewarding. I value strong and lasting relationships, so a long term assignment is welcome. I like to make each day an adventure with the kids, exploring the neighborhood/city or staying in and being creative at home. Although I enjoy having fun and being silly, I appreciate the responsibilities that come with supporting the parents and following the schedule they have created. I especially enjoy helping with homework during the school year and providing extra Spanish lessons throughout the year, if desired. I have reliable transportation and am punctual. I will be glad to help with housekeeping, errands, or meal prep.

I raised my daughter, who is now in college and I have missed being around young children. While my daughter was in PreK at SeaPines Montessori, I worked as an assistant teacher for babies at the same school. While my daughter was in elementary school, for 3 years I worked as a nanny for a family with two young children, a 5-year-old little girl and an 18 months old little boy. I love taking care of children, and I especially miss being around young children.

I love children I have been caring and interacting with children since I was very young, I am a mom to an 18 yr old an a 11 yr old. Being a mom is one of the best jobs in the world and I would love to provide your family with the care and attention that I provide my own. I understand leaving your child in the care of someone else can be a big decision and bring up un-wanting anxiety about finding the right person, prior to having my 2 sons I cared for 3 yr old I know the importance of communication, trust and reliability that a nanny/parent relationship should maintain.
