We are currently accepting applications for Full-time and Part-time Teacher Assistants/Floaters. The ideal candidate will meet and exceed all Kansas Child Care licensing requirements, possess a high level of professionalism, have a true passion for children, and a desire for long-term employment with a rapidly growing company.
Meet all Kansas state Child Care Licensing requirements.
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Working knowledge of the behaviors and developmental stages of infant/toddler/pre-school/school-age children, typically gained by working one year or more in a school or preschool setting.
Knowledge of safety practices as they relate to infant/toddler/preschool/school age children.
Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/First Aid certified at time of hire or achieve certification within 30 days from date of hire.
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
Employment conditional upon results of the following:
Satisfactory criminal background-check for child care centers.
Satisfactory Drug Screen.
Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
Assist the lead teacher, which includes, but is not limited to:
Follow daily schedule.
Decorating the class.
Keeping classrooms clean and orderly.
Meeting children's basic needs (diapers, attention, etc.).
May temporarily assume the responsibilities of the lead teacher in his/her absence.
Be familiar with and follow all school policies and licensing rules.
Report any suspicion of child abuse or neglect.
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. approximately 100 times per day/shift. Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, hearing, talking, and repetitive motion are physical requirements of the position.

To ensure we maintain a safe and healthy environment, temperatures are taken upon arrival, children are escorted to their classrooms while in the building, COVID screening is being conducted, and special sanitizing procedures are in place.
