The Giggling Pig Pound Ridge

Join us on Columbus Day, SCHOOL’S CLOSED but the Pig is open. We will be collaborating with Sasha from Feeding Young Foodies, to take kids on a foodie journey, where kids get to: ✨ Make art prints using fruits and veggies 🥕 Learn about healthy foods in the most fun way 🍩 Create playful paper-mâché food (like giant strawberries, and more!) 🍱 Assemble and pack their very own lunchbox to take home! No snack is required this time because food is provided. Please let us know about any allergies or food restrictions and we will accommodate. See you at the Pig!

Miss Jessica is a professional cellist and strings specialist with 20 years of experience. If your child is playing currently in school and would like to learn more and play with others, this budding program at The Giggling Pig is the perfect next step to encourage their interest in orchestra! We will explore fun repertoire and play together. Please bring your rental instrument!

In this 1-hour class, your child will be introduced to the fundamentals of art, including blending and composition, all within a fun and relaxed environment. Each week, students will have the chance to explore a variety of mediums and techniques, offering them the opportunity to learn something new with every session. We provide guidance and introduce new methods, while also encouraging self-expression, allowing each child to develop their unique artistic style.

Art Lessons perfect for ages 4-8 years. 1-hour class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our beginner classes. Dress for a mess! We use acrylic paints and sometimes they are difficult to remove from clothes!

We will make friendship bracelets and decorate sunglasses and have a special performance with TS herself! Wear your Era’s gear and bring your dancing and singing shoes because we are immersing in a full concert experience right here in Pound Ridge. Reserve your spot now! Bring a nut free snack and a water bottle, drop off is 9:30 and pick up is 12:30! See you at the Pig!

In this class we'll have various different "stations" for the little ones to explore, including a collaborative painting station with a couple paint colors to play with, a water sensory station, a puff-ball sensory station, a "paper wall" on which the little ones can mark with paint, play dough, and animal cut-out paper to mark with dot pens... So Many Options!! Come and experience a safe and relaxed environment in which to explore creativity, color and FUN! :-)
