His musical influences include Animal Collective, Maps and Atlases and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Cesar's favorite thing about music is the ability to express yourself and his favorite thing about teaching music is sharing knowledge you can use for years. Over the course of being in school from elementary to high school I played: saxophone for 10 years (Alto, Tenor, Baritone) in concert, Jazz, and my two time Ohio state championship winning marching band, choir for 3 years, show choir for two years (one time ohio state champion), and multiple musicals. I am also a martial artist with 16 years experience. I love to teach and watch somebody grow into what they want to be! Formal Education: Elementary to High School-Saxophone Middle to High School- Choir and Show Choir High School- Musicals Private Education: Taught myself guitar- playing for about 4 years. Performing Experience: At least 100 concerts throughout school for band and choir, 4 musicals, 2 state championship band competitions (state champions both times), 2 state championship Show Choir competitions (1 time State Champions) Experience Teaching: 3 years teaching private saxophone in high school, 6 years teaching martial arts, former middle school and youth wrestling coach.
