Join us on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for a special Open Gym! Free for Members, just $10 drop-in fee for non-members.

Open Gyms are exclusive for active, enrolled members only. A drop in option is available for a non-enrolled child.

Open Gym Focus: Independent play with adult and child. What to expect in class: Children are given free range to explore the set-ups, with their adults within a hug’s reach. Let your child take the lead and run out some wiggles! Special Open Gym times will sometimes have extra activities like a no-mess art activity, a story-time or a surprise visit from Gymbo! Benefits: Physical:Allowing children to lead their own play offers time for them to try things repeatedly without worrying about the structure of a class, or trying something again they did in class earlier! Cognitive: Unguided play supports early brain development. Social: Sharing a space with mixed ages allows for children to learn and practice more sophisticated social skills and learn from their peers. Adults: Let your little one guide their own play, which has countless benefits. Spend quality time with them doing what they love to do, and mostly run out some energy!

Open gym and tricking time for those curious about parkour or current students. Ages 7 and up. No experience is necessary. Our coaches take an active role in your child's time here, offering challenges, teaching new moves, and having fun playing active games. This is a PARKOUR open gym time and is meant for the practice and study of parkour moves. This is not a free play time.

Join us for Open Gym time just for our Babies and Toddlers! This open gym is designated for babies up to children who are new walkers.

Alice is so excited to offer classes this Fall at We Rock the Spectrum! Music with Alice, a 30-40 minute family music class, welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together! These special classes will include an hour of gym time at We Rock the Spectrum (built in to the price of each class.) *Siblings under 1 years of age are free! Please just let me know you are bringing them! * **Babies under 1 that come alone MUST register.** ***WRTS gym members can request a code to deduct the cost of the open gym.*** These classes are highly engaging to all ages, as Alice teaches everyone finger play activities, hand movements, lap songs, call and response singing and a big jam at the end with shakers and kids instruments.* (*Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments to class) Each class is full of music from the folk tradition that are so simple with lyrics and movements easy enough for both baby, toddler, and adult to learn. These classes have a flow that allows quiet soothing and also lots of movement and big fun! These classes encourage bonding and create special memories that will last forever after the class. We believe that all children should experience authentic music making which will increase the whole family’s musical confidence and give them a healthy relationship to music at an early age.
