Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Younger students (ages 6 and up) will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction, helping them develop foundational skills in working with clay. Older students will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and surface decoration. With guidance from experienced instructors, students will create unique, functional, and decorative pieces while learning about form, texture, and craftsmanship. Once there, they will adhere to the tentative schedule outlined below: 1 - Playground 2 - Scheduled Activity 3 - Snack 4 - in November, we will introduce homework 5 - Free Play 6 - Dismissal Aftercare services will commence on the first day of school. Please specify WOWKids/World Of Wonder for pick-up when completing the school application. We will deliver a file to each school containing pictures of all authorized employees for pick-up. This process will occur on around September 1st and 2nd. We aim to maintain consistency during pick-up by assigning the same teachers to each school. Throughout September, there will be a rotation to ensure all staff become familiar with routines, and we can determine what works best for all involved. Additionally, we offer backup care for non-school days, available for an extra fee. Registration for backup care can be completed through care.com. Days will be posted once the schools issue the calendar. Changes for the Upcoming Year: 1. A $500 deposit per child is required. This deposit serves as your registration fee and will secure your child’s placement. Please note that the month of September will be billed at full tuition. Monthly tuition $1350.00 2. This league is perfect for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 4th grade who want to learn the game the right way while having a blast on the court. Key Details: 🏀 Each player will receive a jersey and shorts once teams are formed. 📅 Game times may vary based on enrollment. ⚠️ Scheduling conflicts must be submitted by Week 1. Individual goals are established and records of progress kept. A sketchbook is required for this class. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. Students new to ADEX are required to complete 3-4 prerequisite projects that introduce new mediums and the fundamentals of composition, color, and form. These projects also serve to familiarize students with the studio’s layout, proper setup and cleanup procedures, as well as essential steps in project planning. These prerequisites are completed at the students’ pace and typically take at least one session to complete.

After school, we’ll offer a mini-version of our famous Hi-Five Sports Camp that has thrived for over 35 years. Our After School program will allow children to get a taste of a variety of sports under the guidance of great coaches – encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and FUN. The Hi-Five After School Club will focus on the core sports in our Summer Camp program – basketball, softball/baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, hockey, and volleyball. In addition, we’ll play a wide variety of schoolyard games that get the kids moving and competing. Whether they make a mistake or lose or they make a great play or win, they’ll learn from it and keep playing. We believe the key to teaching kids how to play sports is through encouraging them to develop the proper fundamentals and play with passion. These babies are on the move! Pre-crawling, Crawling, cruising, rolling, sitting, ready to explore anything and everything. We boogie down with our babies, get up and dance, give them baby massages, sing them songs, and explore new physical challenges every week through teacher-led activities on the equipment. Explore tummy time from a new perspective or on a new texture, slide down slides on soft blankets, or take a gentle ride. Play as a group and socialize with others! Sing song, learn a routine PLAY!
