Join Sing with Emily and Tiny Tunemakers for a 45 minute music and movement class! We'll sing, creatively move, play instruments, improvise, use props, dance, enjoy musical story time and most importantly...have fun!! Feel free to bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on. Older siblings (6+ years) are welcome to join free of charge. For questions call the studio at (331) 261-5799. Refunds are not offered for these classes, however, we will do our best to provide make up classes when possible. All make ups must be used within the current session. Any exceptions are at the discretion of Sing with Emily staff. **Weekly classes need at least 3 students to run. In the event that not enough students are registered in advance, a class may be cancelled 24 hours before the date of the class. In the event that a class is cancelled, attendees will be notified and the class will be removed from the website for registration.

3-4 years old Discover the joy of movement in our Introduction to Dance I class designed for children ages 3 to 4! Through fun activities and creative play, young dancers will explore various movement styles, develop coordination, and unleash their creativity in a supportive and engaging environment. Join us for a lively dance experience that will inspire a love for dance and movement from an early age!

*Mid-session registration: If you are signing up AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THIS SERIES OF 8 CLASSES, email info@marvegos.com about a possible project conflict before you arrive for class.* Our school year curriculum for age 12 and up emphasizes personal responsibility and self-directed art-making under the guidance of the instructor. Individual goals are established and records of progress kept. A sketchbook is required for this class. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. Students new to ADEX are required to complete 3-4 prerequisite projects that introduce new mediums and the fundamentals of composition, color, and form. These projects also serve to familiarize students with the studio’s layout, proper setup and cleanup procedures, as well as essential steps in project planning. These prerequisites are completed at the students’ pace and typically take at least one session to complete.

It’s time to get creative in motion! Make It Move! combines art and movement as campers explore action, energy, and rhythm through hands-on projects. From spinning and rolling to creating art inspired by motion and dance, this lively week channels springtime energy into joyful, process-focused creativity.

Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Much like our teen school year classes, we will offer the flexibility of having planned projects for those who don't necessarily have a clear idea of what to create, as well as more of an open studio for those who are ready to dive into all those projects in their heads (with the guidance of our teachers). We offer everything from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking to sculpture. Please note that due to time constraints, we do not offer ceramics in this program during summer camps (please check out our Rebel Ceramics program if interested in working with ceramics). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

Preschoolers can now experience the magic of Broadway with a class designed specifically for them! Each week, Broadway Little Stars introduces preschoolers to a new musical through activities inspired by the “show of the week” and designed to get them singing, dancing, and acting along. Pick up at the Five Sports Zone Campers will enjoy multi-sports activities, group games, bounce house fun, flag football, basketball skills, and more. These babies are on the move! Pre-crawling, Crawling, cruising, rolling, sitting, ready to explore anything and everything. We boogie down with our babies, get up and dance, give them baby massages, sing them songs, and explore new physical challenges every week through teacher-led activities on the equipment. Explore tummy time from a new perspective or on a new texture, slide down slides on soft blankets, or take a gentle ride. Play as a group and socialize with others! Sing song, learn a routine PLAY! And of course our parachute/bubble time. Benefits: Physical: Tummy time, Crawling, and physical activity stimulates Gross Motor Development, Problem Solving Skills, and Spatial Awareness. Get ready to Defy Gravity this summer with everyone's favorite witches! Don't wait to enroll, this week is going to be POP-U-LAR! This week long camp, inspired by the hit musical WICKED and its iconic movie adaptation, combines the magic of musical theater with the fun and freedom of summer to help campers develop the skills every performer needs to perform on a Broadway Stage! Campers will spend the week singing, dancing, acting, and rehearsing for their Final Performance which will take place on the last day of camp! They’ll also be given the chance to discover what goes on “behind the scenes” helping to create costume pieces, sets, and props that they'll use in their final performance!
