Alex's Music Lessons (Guitar, Drum, Bass Guitar, Piano)
by Taylor Robinson Music
Chicago, IL
Years of Experience: 15 Location Options: In Studio, In Home, In Webcam Travel Radius: 5 Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Country, Acoustic, Christian, RB, Gospel, Pop Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult, Under 6 Years Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons,Bass Guitar Lessons,Drum Lessons,Keyboard and Piano Lessons Overview: Hello, my name is Alex. I started my music journey playing the piano back in 1997. Then, I decided to learn playing guitar as well. The guitar I?ve been playing it since 2001 and have played with a lot of different bands and genres (rock, indie, blues, country, folk, flamenco, classical music). The drums, I learned how to play them when I was in a 4 man band but our drummer moved to a different city. Since I?ve always been able learn songs by ear, playing the drums and coordination from the piano made it easy to learn how to play the drums. I would not consider myself and expert but I can definitely teach you the basics. The hardest song I can play on the drums would be ?Brianstorm? from the Arctic Monkeys. I can definitely teach you basic and intermediate drum beats as well as coordination, but if you?re trying to learn jazzy, off beat, improvisation kind of beats I don?t have much knowledge about that. I have social media where you can see some of my videos. I mainly upload guitar videos since it?s the most portable instrument to carry around when I travel but as I mentioned before, I can definitely teach you how to play the piano (I believe I have a few piano videos on YouTube), bass, and drums as well. TikTok (ex), Instagram (iam_alejandro), and YouTube account (). Hope to meet you soon! Alex Performing Experience: I am a songwriter, guitarist, pianist, drummer, and bassist. I've been playing with different bands for more than 10 years. Experience Teaching: I've also been a Music Teacher for more than 15 years. I give Citizenship naturalization classes and I’ve been doing it for 8 years; I also have worked as a GED Instructor for the El Paso Public Library for 5 years.
