Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Who This Class Is For: Both new and continuing students. Teens ages 12-17 who are eager to create art more independently but want guidance, structure, and inspiration from a teacher. Students interested in experimenting with different art forms and techniques. Young artists who want to develop their skills and explore personal projects.

*Mid-session registration: If you are signing up AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THIS SERIES OF 9 CLASSES, email info@marvegos.com about a possible project conflict before you arrive for class.* Our school year curriculum for age 12 and up emphasizes personal responsibility and self-directed art-making under the guidance of the instructor. Individual goals are established and records of progress kept. A sketchbook is required for this class. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. Students new to ADEX are required to complete 3-4 prerequisite projects that introduce new mediums and the fundamentals of composition, color, and form. These projects also serve to familiarize students with the studio’s layout, proper setup and cleanup procedures, as well as essential steps in project planning. These prerequisites are completed at the students’ pace and typically take at least one session to complete.

Pre-crawling, Crawling, cruising, rolling, sitting, ready to explore anything and everything. We boogie down with our babies, get up and dance, give them baby massages, sing them songs, and explore new physical challenges every week through teacher-led activities on the equipment. Explore tummy time from a new perspective or on a new texture, slide down slides on soft blankets, or take a gentle ride. Play as a group and socialize with others! Sing song, learn a routine PLAY! Hi-Five Golf Fore More Join Coach PJ this Fall Season for a fun and engaging golf clinic at the Willow Hill Driving Range designed for boys and girls entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Young golfers will learn the fundamentals of the game, including: Driving Chipping Putting Proper Grip Stance Swing Mechanics Coach PJ uses fun, age-appropriate instruction, games, and activities to help each child build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the game of golf. Attendance & Cancellation Policy Because Hi-Five is responsible for paying the driving range for each participant: Missed classes without at least 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a credit or refund. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before class will receive a class credit. Weather-related cancellations will only occur if the golf course closes due to weather. Important Notes... Hi-Five has golf clubs available for children to use during the clinic. However, if your child has their own clubs, we encourage them to bring them. This Creative Movement Class is designed to introduce young dancers to the joy of movement through music, storytelling, games, and creative play. With jazz and ballet as the base, students will build coordination, balance, rhythm, listening skills, and body awareness while exploring movement in a fun and supportive environment. Creative Movement encourages imagination, confidence, and social interaction while laying the foundation for future dance training. Students will explore: Basic dance movement and coordination Rhythm and musicality Creative expression and imagination Balance, stretching, and motor skills Following directions and classroom skills Movement through stories, props, and games Required Materials: Ballet Shoes Comfortable dancewear (leotard, leggings, dance shorts, or fitted athletic wear) Hair secured away from the face Optional: small dance bag for shoes and belongings Water Bottle Recital Costume This registration fee DOES NOT include costumes. Designed specifically for dancers, this class focuses on the strength, flexibility, balance, and acrobatic skills commonly used in dance. Unlike our recreational gymnastics classes, instruction emphasizes clean dance acro technique, progressions, and skills that translate directly to dance performances and competitions. No refunds or credits, make-up classes only! The only time to drop the class will be when the first session ends in December 2026. If you do not drop then you will be automatically re-enrolled for January-May 2027.

Our camps are organized into 3 age groups, so all chefs team up with their peers. All chefs will get to taste everything that they cook. All recipes will be sent home for later preparation. A child may also pack up any uneaten tastings to share at home. This is a hands-on cooking camp. Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Younger students (ages 6 and up) will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction, helping them develop foundational skills in working with clay. Older students will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and surface decoration. With guidance from experienced instructors, students will create unique, functional, and decorative pieces while learning about form, texture, and craftsmanship.
