Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Stop in between open hours and pick out an activity to do. You need roughly 45 mins to complete a project - you do not need to come for 2 hours. This is NOT an art lesson - this is creative time. You can select a ceramic or canvas to create on or make slime.

On 2nd and 4th Saturdays, kids can come in and work on their own projects or take advantage of our experienced instructors and learn something new. Students may also take on ambitious, ongoing projects if they would like. Studio Time can be used to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. All of our studio resources will be available to students during this time. Parents may drop-in last minute if they would like, buy a class-pack to use anytime during the fall semester, or register in advance. Students may choose to do ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, animation, collage, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, screen printing, or anything else we have the resources to do. Sky's the limit!

(If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

Grab your kiddos (aged 5 and up) and join us for a morning of family fun in the Pottery Studio. Each adult and child team will work side by side to glaze two ceramic stocking plates - just in time for the winter season this year and to enjoy for years to come! We will glaze your plates and have them ready for pick up within 2 weeks. Registration includes one adult and one child (two plates). Additional seats (child or adult) are available for $37.50. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Seats are limited - sign up now to reserve your space in this FUN workshop!
