Join us for this 5 day camp in our Rebel Ceramics studio. Campers will be learning different hand-building techniques through different projects. Campers will be learning all about the clay body, the full ceramic process (clay/greenware/bone dry/bisque ware/glazed ceramic), different hand-building techniques, and underglazing. Lets get those hands dirty, and do a deep dive into some ceramic creativity! Note that our 4-7 year olds are hand-build only (not learning the pottery wheel). Please note that due to the nature of ceramics and the firing process, camper's artwork pieces will not be ready to take home on the last day, but will need to be picked up at a later date. We will reach out to notify parents when finished pieces are ready for pick up typically about two weeks after camp.

Join us in the afterschool for a 1.5 hour drop off where we will be making all kinds of incredible art! From ceramics to cards, ornaments, to illustrations. There is something for everyone. A Little of Everything Week is exactly that! Campers get to explore a bit of everything—from slime and ceramics to canvas art, clay projects, and so much more. Each day offers new choices and creative adventures, and we can’t wait to see what your child picks and what they create! ​

We are offering 3 different art camps/ new curriculum for Middle and High School Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

Throughout the course, artists will explore a mix of hand-building techniques such as coiling, slab building, and pinch pots, as well as beginning to learn pottery wheel skills; all while letting their creativity run wild. By the end of the class, students will not only have a collection of unique, personalized pieces but also a deeper knowledge of the craft, building a strong foundation to continue developing their ceramic skills in future classes. The class is designed for all skill levels, so whether it’s your child’s first time working with clay or they’ve already joined in classes with us, there’s always plenty more to learn and create. The realm of ceramics offers endless possibilities! Details: 1.5 hours per week, for 8 weeks All materials (clay, tools, and supplies) are included in the registration fee Please note: Make-up classes and prorated fees are not available. Let’s get messy and have fun making art! Due to the time extensive process of ceramics not all pieces will be finished by the last day of class. This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Who This Class Is For: Both new and continuing students. Teens ages 12-17 who are eager to create art more independently but want guidance, structure, and inspiration from a teacher. The class is 2 hours once per week for 8 weeks. The registration fee includes clay, use of tools and supplies. Please note that we are unable to offer make-up classes, nor a pro-rate for future missed classes. Once the session is over you will receive an email notice that the ceramic pieces have completed their glaze firing and are ready for pick up. Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

Satisfy your curiosity, and experience a fun and thorough introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding project can possibly be included. Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel. Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation.
