On 2nd and 4th Saturdays, kids can come in and work on their own projects or take advantage of our experienced instructors and learn something new. Students may also take on ambitious, ongoing projects if they would like. Studio Time can be used to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. All of our studio resources will be available to students during this time. Parents may drop-in last minute if they would like, buy a class-pack to use anytime during the fall semester, or register in advance. Students may choose to do ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, animation, collage, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, screen printing, or anything else we have the resources to do. Sky's the limit!

Get ready for a week packed with creativity, color, and hands-on fun! Our Slime & Ceramics Camp gives young makers the best of both worlds—messy, stretchy, sensational slime and beautifully hand-painted ceramics. From glitter and glow-in-the-dark slimes to fluffy, crunchy, and scented varieties, kids will learn slime-making techniques that spark imagination and sensory play. On the ceramics side, campers can pick from a variety of pieces to paint or try simple clay-building projects that let them express their unique style. With guided instruction, plenty of creative freedom, and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, every child will finish the week with a collection of custom slimes and ceramic treasures to take home. It’s the perfect blend of art, science, and pure fun—ideal for kids who love to create, experiment, and get a little messy! ​For full day please pack a NUT FREE snack and lunch. This week, we’re diving into the colorful and creative world of mosaics. Young artists will learn how mosaics are traditionally assembled using small tiles made from materials like glass, stone, and ceramics—often square in shape, but sometimes round or irregular for added visual interest. Inspired by these techniques, kids will design and create their own unique mosaic artworks using pieces of broken pottery, china, glass, buttons, figurines, and even jewelry! By arranging and cementing these fun found objects onto a sturdy base, artists will transform scraps into colorful, textured masterpieces—boosting creativity, problem-solving, and artistic confidence along the way.

As summer draws to a close, we're giving campers the freedom to choose their creative adventures for the final days of camp. Each day, we'll offer a selection of activities ranging from canvas painting and ceramics to slime making and collage crafting. Campers can decide how they want to spend their day, exploring different mediums and expressing their unique artistic styles. It's a wonderful opportunity for them to dive into what they love most and end their summer with a burst of creativity and personal expression. Join us for these last few days of fun-filled, self-directed creativity!

Stop in between open hours and pick out an activity to do. You need roughly 45 mins to complete a project - you do not need to come for 2 hours. This is NOT an art lesson - this is creative time. You can select a ceramic or canvas to create on or make slime.

Summer camp is here! Join Us! This is a 4-day, pro-rated week. No camp on Friday 7/3/26. Kids will work on new projects each day* ...check out our website for weekly themes! Full-Day hours: 9:00 am- 3:00 pm Extended hours available below (in Extras). Send your child in with a snack, a lunch**, and a water bottle. Please do not send in candy. **We are a peanut-free & tree-nut-free facility, please do not send in foods with peanuts or tree-nuts (ie: trail mix, Nutella, walnuts, pecans, almonds etc). *Projects may occasionally vary from those posted on website, and on specific weeks, campers may work on the project for the whole week as noted on camp page.

Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Much like our teen school year classes, we will offer the flexibility of having planned projects for those who don't necessarily have a clear idea of what to create, as well as more of an open studio for those who are ready to dive into all those projects in their heads (with the guidance of our teachers). We offer everything from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking to sculpture. Please note that due to time constraints, we do not offer ceramics in this program during summer camps (please check out our Rebel Ceramics program if interested in working with ceramics). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.
