Join us for this 5 day camp in our Rebel Ceramics studio. Campers will be learning different hand-building techniques through different projects. Campers will be learning all about the clay body, the full ceramic process (clay/greenware/bone dry/bisque ware/glazed ceramic), different hand-building techniques, and underglazing. Lets get those hands dirty, and do a deep dive into some ceramic creativity! Note that our 4-7 year olds are hand-build only (not learning the pottery wheel). Please note that due to the nature of ceramics and the firing process, camper's artwork pieces will not be ready to take home on the last day, but will need to be picked up at a later date. We will reach out to notify parents when finished pieces are ready for pick up typically about two weeks after camp.

In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children).
