This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, clay, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can create when you explore with your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for all sessions OR our school program for discounted rate. Drawing Class This drawing class is designed for students of all levels of drawing experience, and would like to learn some advanced techniques and explore new mediums. At the Studio we're lucky to have ceramic artists eager to share their craft with your kids. This week-long camp will focus on a mixture of hand building and wheel throwing. We will create a variety of bowls, plates, cups, vases, and more while experimenting with surface design and glazes.

Ceramics camps for our 8-11 year olds will run every week of our 10 weeks of summer camp, boasting different projects each week for those who may want to join us for multiple weeks of ceramic fun! Please note that due to the nature of ceramics and the firing process, campers artworks will not be ready to take home on the last day, but will need to be picked up at a later date. We will reach out to notify parents when finished pieces are ready for pick up.

Satisfy your curiosity, and experience a fun and thorough introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding project and casting will also included. Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel. Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. Students will showcase their pieces in an art show to guests. Parents- Invite grandparents, friends and family. All pieces go home the last day of class. Such a fun way for students to share what they have learned through process and design. Our Last Class we will have student presentations the last 15 minutes of class. Please bring a bag and some towels, paper to wrap all of your treasures and take home.

join us for a special drop-off ceramic night where kids will paint their own sea turtle lanterns while spending the evening creating with friends at the studio. once glazed and fired, these adorable turtles light up and make the perfect beachy bedroom decor or cozy night light. we’ll spend the evening painting ceramics, eating pizza, listening to music, and creating something they’ll be so proud to bring home ✨ pizza included 🍕 ages 5+ space is limited for this special summer ceramic event!

As summer draws to a close, we're giving campers the freedom to choose their creative adventures for the final days of camp. Each day, we'll offer a selection of activities ranging from canvas painting and ceramics to slime making and collage crafting. Campers can decide how they want to spend their day, exploring different mediums and expressing their unique artistic styles. It's a wonderful opportunity for them to dive into what they love most and end their summer with a burst of creativity and personal expression. Join us for these last few days of fun-filled, self-directed creativity!​

Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Younger students (ages 6 and up) will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction, helping them develop foundational skills in working with clay. Older students will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and surface decoration. With guidance from experienced instructors, students will create unique, functional, and decorative pieces while learning about form, texture, and craftsmanship. Whether learning the basics or refining their technique, students in our pottery program will gain confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for the art of ceramics in a fun and supportive environment!

During this week campers get to enjoy a different ceramic and slime daily. Although there are options to take part in painting on canvas instead. ​ We know going home we so many slimes and ceramics can be overwhelming - so we have you covered. From fluffy slime to glow in the dark and snow slime - we will keep the campers day filled with exciting activities!

Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

This is going to be a fun week filled with everyone's favorites. From working with clay to mixing slime and painting ceramic pieces. We make sure that every session is filled with creativity and giggles. ​PLEASE EMAIL REGISTRATION FORM & MEDICAL PRIOR TO THE START OF CAMP.

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)
