Explore the world of making your own clay creations! This class will teach you how to create several hand-built clay pieces. Students will be introduced to Kiln firing, and procedures, as well as stages of clay: Wet, Greenware, Bisqueware, and more. Each student will custom glaze each project, and have all pieces fired in our kiln. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for all sessions OR our school program for discounted rate.

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

Join us for this 5-day camp in our Rebel Ceramics studio. Campers will be doing a combination of hand-building and pottery wheel projects, learning all about the clay body itself, the full ceramic process, different techniques, and glazing. Get those hands dirty,and do a deep dive into problem-solving skills. Ceramics camps for our 8-11 year olds will run every week of our 10 weeks of summer camp, boasting different projects each week for those who may want to join us for multiple weeks of ceramic fun! Please note that due to the nature of ceramics and the firing process, campers artworks will not be ready to take home on the last day, but will need to be picked up at a later date. We will reach out to notify parents when finished pieces are ready for pick up.

As summer draws to a close, we're giving campers the freedom to choose their creative adventures for the final days of camp. Each day, we'll offer a selection of activities ranging from canvas painting and ceramics to slime making and collage crafting. Campers can decide how they want to spend their day, exploring different mediums and expressing their unique artistic styles. It's a wonderful opportunity for them to dive into what they love most and end their summer with a burst of creativity and personal expression. Join us for these last few days of fun-filled, self-directed creativity!

Here the studio art experience is brought to you! In Ceramics, we work with clay sculpting and students form their artwork by hand. Basic techniques are taught and demonstrations are given. The students paint their Ceramic art with non-toxic colors that are then transported to a kiln, bisque, and glaze fired with a clear food-safe finish. The beautiful and durable glazed ceramics are fun and students will learn the fundamentals of sculpture & hand-building techniques. Use of tools will be shown to create a vase or sculpture, planning to try a more extended project that is less rushed. Other mediums will be introduced, such as wood. Using pre-cut wood, popsicle sticks and some paint we will explore forming objects of art and function. Also wire sculpting to form people, animals, and contemporary art will be part of the sculpting. Teaching student's ways to bend colored pipe cleaner, and firmer wire into shapes and designs with a base. Artwork comes back to the classroom, as it's ready throughout the program. All artwork will be received by the last class. Usually, we finish with a self-hardening clay project they take home on the last day. At the Studio we're lucky to have ceramic artists eager to share their craft with your kids. This week-long camp will focus on a mixture of hand building and wheel throwing. We will create a variety of bowls, plates, cups, vases, and more while experimenting with surface design and glazes.

Summer camp is here! Join Us! This is a 4-day, pro-rated week. No camp on Friday 7/3/26. Kids will work on a new project each day*... check out our website for camp day project details*. Half-Day PM: 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm Extended hours available below (in Extras). ***This course is ONLY for Grades 1-5*** In this creative, engaging and hands-on class, students construct beautiful and high quality keepsakes. Everyone works on an individual bead design board and chooses from an amazing selection of beads (crystals, sea glass, ceramics, etc) lead-free charms and components. Each week will feature two new accessories including: necklaces, bracelets, hair accessories, purses, rings, bookmarks, wind chimes, keychains and many other fun items with an emphasis on Spring styles. Fun techniques will be demonstrated and used. All levels are welcome and accomodated. Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Much like our teen school year classes, we will offer the flexibility of having planned projects for those who don't necessarily have a clear idea of what to create, as well as more of an open studio for those who are ready to dive into all those projects in their heads (with the guidance of our teachers). We offer everything from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking to sculpture. Please note that due to time constraints, we do not offer ceramics in this program during summer camps (please check out our Rebel Ceramics program if interested in working with ceramics). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.
