You don't have to be a pro to create beautiful art! All it takes is some practice, patience, and inspiration to create something magnificent. For my age 10+ KVArteests, we work in oil paints on projects each artist chooses with my input. This is a class for those with enough art experience or can-do attitude to work largely independently.

Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Younger students (ages 6 and up) will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction, helping them develop foundational skills in working with clay. Older students will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and surface decoration. With guidance from experienced instructors, students will create unique, functional, and decorative pieces while learning about form, texture, and craftsmanship. Whether learning the basics or refining their technique, students in our pottery program will gain confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for the art of ceramics in a fun and supportive environment!

The High School Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session designed for teens looking to develop and refine their artistic skills. This class explores advanced techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, with an emphasis on composition, perspective, color theory, and conceptual development. Students are encouraged to experiment with different styles and mediums while building a strong portfolio that reflects their personal artistic growth and vision.

The Middle School Digital Animation class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 11-13, focusing on expanding animation skills using iPads and Procreate Dreams. Students dive into keyframe animation, character design, storyboarding, and visual storytelling, exploring how to create compelling animations from start to finish. This class nurtures creativity and technical skills, preparing students for more advanced animation techniques and projects.

The High School Digital Animation class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session designed for teens looking to develop their animation skills using iPads and Procreate Dreams. This class covers keyframe animation, character design, storyboarding, timing, and motion principles, allowing students to create dynamic, professional-quality animations. With a focus on visual storytelling and personal artistic style, students build a strong foundation in animation while preparing for advanced creative opportunities.

The Process Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 3-5, designed to encourage creativity, exploration, and sensory engagement. This class focuses on the experience of making art rather than the final product, allowing young artists to experiment with colors, textures, and materials in a fun and hands-on environment. Through painting, collage, and mixed media activities, children develop fine motor skills, confidence, and a love for creative expression.

Our staff guides students step by step through a painting, making it easy for everyone to create their own artwork. With loose, organic strokes, anyone who can hold a brush can succeed. Techniques are taught to help students practice at home. 90 minutes.

Advanced Art: Autumn Series Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM Celebrate the beauty of the season in this four-week advanced art class focused on autumnal themes. Students will explore color, texture, and composition through a variety of mediums while drawing inspiration from fall landscapes, changing leaves, and seasonal light. Each session will build toward the creation of a final, refined autumn-themed painting. Perfect for experienced young artists looking to deepen their skills and create a cohesive, beautiful piece over time.

During this week campers get to enjoy a different ceramic and slime daily. Although there are options to take part in painting on canvas instead. ​ We know going home we so many slimes and ceramics can be overwhelming - so we have you covered. From fluffy slime to glow in the dark and snow slime - we will keep the campers day filled with exciting activities!

Enjoy fun-filled, creative summer camps filled with arts and crafts. Each week will have different projects! Our projects will include: creating a book of art over 5 days; painting a multi-step masterpiece; drawing landscapes, cartoons, and more; sculpting with wire, clay, and other materials. Our days will include two breaks to get out and be active and have your brought-from-home snacks. So come, bring a friend, make some new ones and enjoy our relaxed, creative environment, bringing home frame-worthy art and a keepsake book illustrated by your cutie pie.

Ages 4-6. THIS WEEK: This week we’re traveling to the seaside for this glorious landscape painting. With a focus on color and texture, students will discover various ways to imply depth in their art. Studying the characteristics of foreground and background, we will challenge their color mixing skills as they learn about atmospheric perspective. Dress for a mess!

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. At Singing Sensations Camp, we blend the magic of music with the fun of visual art. Campers will explore their favorite musicians, musicals, and kids’ movies, turning iconic songs and characters into vibrant works of art. Each day, campers dive into hands-on projects inspired by the sounds they love. Painting expressive portraits of favorite singers, designing posters for beloved musicals, creating art from popular kids’ movies, and crafting colorful music-themed masterpieces.
