Join us on Sunday mornings for a delightful canvas painting experience! Each week, we’ll guide you step by step in creating a new masterpiece, or you can choose to paint your own unique creation. Whether you prefer to follow along with our featured image or let your imagination run wild, Sundays at The Giggling Pig Art Studio are sure to be more fun than ever!

Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and and just plain fun! Each week we offer a variety of different media projects (acrylic painting, watercolor, plaster sculpture, mixed media, collage, printmaking, and more!). Projects change each week making it easy for campers to attend multiple weeks of camp without repeating projects, but further exploring the range and depth of mediums. We ensure a good balance between 2D and 3D projects, so whether your young artists prefers to build things and be hands on, paint, draw, or print things they'll be more than pleased! Our camps are not only fun, but an opportunity for young artists to explore art mediums that they typically do not get in school, education in art terminology and art history (including current artists). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

During this week campers get to enjoy a different ceramic, slime or canvas painting daily. There will also be options to create freely in our recycled section! We know going home we so many slimes and ceramics can be overwhelming - so we have you covered we more options this year. From fluffy slime to glow in the dark and snow slime - we will keep the campers day filled with exciting activities! ​

LET'S GOGH! Join us for an afternoon of art inspiration, creativity and fun! At this camp your child will design a painting inspired by what Van Gogh's self portrait would look like as a dog. This project is made with acrylic paint on canvas board. Campers learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. LET'S GOGH! Join us for an afternoon of art that is fun, hands on, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will get to learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. Van Gogh's most famous painting, Starry Starry Night, comes to life at this camp with a mix of both texture and color! Campers will get to sculpt the swirls and designs of the painting using polymer clay to create a textured tile. Budding artists capturing multiple objects tend to begin with the largest or most attractive one first, finish it, and move on to the next. By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. Procuring painting and drawing materials are the responsibility of each student, but we are of course happy to advise which ones we think are best.
