In Drawing/Painting Class we will create a variety of fine art projects focusing on technique and style, composition, brushwork, and systematic practice. KVArteest will give input on our subject matter, as we together decide what we want to learn.

Since school is out, come in and work on your projects or take advantage of our experienced instructors and learn something new! Studio Time can be used to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. All of our studio resources will be available to students during this time. Parents may drop-in last minute if they would like, buy a class-pack to use anytime during the fall semester, or register in advance. Students may choose to do ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, animation, collage, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, screen printing, or anything else we have the resources to do. This combination class offers students a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, clay, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can create when you explore with your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for all sessions OR our school program for discounted rate.

Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Piglet Explorers is a playful, process-focused art class created especially for preschoolers and kindergarteners. Throughout the session, children will experiment with a variety of materials while exploring painting, drawing, printmaking, clay, collage, mixed media, and more. Each class balances guided projects with plenty of room for creative play, imaginative thinking, and independent exploration. Young artists will begin learning foundational art techniques, practicing classroom routines, and building confidence in their own creative choices. Piglet Explorers is a drop-off class. Children must be fully potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently to participate.

Rebel Art Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Each week, we offer a variety of different media projects (acrylic painting, watercolor, sculpture, mixed media, collage, printmaking, and more!). Projects change each week making it easy for campers to attend multiple weeks of camp without repeating projects, but further exploring the range and depth of mediums. We ensure a good balance between 2D and 3D projects, so whether your young artists prefers to build things and be hands on, paint, draw, or print things they'll be more than pleased! Our camps are not only fun, but an opportunity for young artists to explore art mediums that they typically do not get in school, education in art terminology and art history (including current artists).
