Each session we will focus on a new artist and medium , creating amazing works throughout the 4 weeks. This is an introduction to artistic forms and skill-building within many mediums, creating frame worthy fun projects throughout the year. In Drawing/Painting Class we will create a variety of fine art projects focusing on technique and style, composition, brushwork, and systematic practice. KVArteest will give input on our subject matter, as we together decide what we want to learn.

Each session features a new theme and introduces young artists to a variety of materials, techniques, and creative styles. From painting and drawing to mixed media projects, children will explore, create, and express themselves in exciting new ways. Our thoughtfully designed, multi-step projects help develop fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence—while encouraging each child’s unique artistic voice. Since school is out, come in and work on your projects or take advantage of our experienced instructors and learn something new! Studio Time can be used to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. All of our studio resources will be available to students during this time. Parents may drop-in last minute if they would like, buy a class-pack to use anytime during the fall semester, or register in advance. Students may choose to do ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, animation, collage, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, screen printing, or anything else we have the resources to do. Sky's the limit!

Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

Piglet Explorers is a playful, process-focused art class created especially for preschoolers and kindergarteners. Throughout the session, children will experiment with a variety of materials while exploring painting, drawing, printmaking, clay, collage, mixed media, and more. Each class balances guided projects with plenty of room for creative play, imaginative thinking, and independent exploration. Young artists will begin learning foundational art techniques, practicing classroom routines, and building confidence in their own creative choices. Piglet Explorers is a drop-off class. Children must be fully potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently to participate.

It is amazing what you can create when you explore with your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. *Mid-session registration: If you are signing up AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THIS SERIES OF 9 CLASSES, email info@marvegos.com about a possible project conflict before you arrive for class.* This class introduces students to the fundamentals of digital drawing and painting using their own compatible tablet or computer. Through hands-on lessons, students will learn essential tools, brushes, layers, and digital techniques while creating original artwork and building a strong foundation in digital illustration. Designed for students ages 9.5–12 who are new to digital art or have little formal class experience, Beginning Digital Art emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and core digital art skills. Small class sizes provide plenty of personalized instruction and one-on-one support. At the end of the session, students will receive a professionally printed item featuring one of their favorite digital creations. Drawing Class This drawing class is designed for students of all levels of drawing experience, and would like to learn some advanced techniques and explore new mediums. Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Who This Class Is For: Both new and continuing students. Teens ages 12-17 who are eager to create art more independently but want guidance, structure, and inspiration from a teacher. Students interested in experimenting with different art forms and techniques. Young artists who want to develop their skills and explore personal projects.

Fall Semester Session One (August-October) Exercise the imagination and build creativity at the Art House. This class is designed for Kindergarten through 2nd grade aged children to help them learn and develop fine motor skills through creating art! Your child will practice using scissors, holding a pencil and paint brush, and much more through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in sizes so sign your child up today!

This year, in "Art Around the World", we will study 8 artists from around the globe. Our fine art projects will include drawing in graphite and colored pencil; painting in acrylic and watercolor; sculpting in foam clay; blending with oil pastels; scratch board; as well as mixed and multi-media work.
