This year, in "Art Around the World", we will study 8 artists from around the globe. Our fine art projects will include drawing in graphite and colored pencil; painting in acrylic and watercolor; sculpting in foam clay; blending with oil pastels; scratch board; as well as mixed and multi-media work. Each session we will focus on a new artist and medium , creating amazing works throughout the 4 weeks. Fall Semester Session Two (October-December) "Every child is an artist"-Pablo Picasso. This class provides classical instruction and skill building in art from a professional degreed artist. In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

Through hands-on projects, students will experiment with color, value, light, texture, composition, and digital painting techniques while discovering new ways to create original artwork. Designed for students ages 9.5–12 who are new to digital art or have little formal class experience, Beginning Digital Art emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and core digital art skills. Small class sizes provide plenty of personalized instruction and one-on-one support. At the end of the session, students will receive a professionally printed item featuring one of their favorite digital creations. Every session is designed to help them build confidence and have fun while discovering the exciting world of art! With our small 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, each child gets plenty of individual attention to help them grow and succeed. Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Studio Time can be used to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. All of our studio resources will be available to students during this time. Parents may drop-in last minute if they would like, buy a class-pack to use anytime during the fall semester, or register in advance. Students may choose to do ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, animation, collage, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, screen printing, or anything else we have the resources to do. We’ll be exploring pumpkins in all the ways our artists do best — touching, scooping, squishing, rolling, pouring, painting and getting just a little bit messy. The studio will be filled with pumpkin-inspired sensory and process-art invitations, with plenty of opportunities for little ones to explore at their own pace. Expect pumpkin painting, pumpkin guts + seeds, fall sensory play, pumpkin playdough, scooping and pouring, pumpkin stamping, a make-and-take art project and LOTS of pumpkins. 🎃

Little artists and their grown-ups will move through hands-on invitations designed especially for toddlers and preschoolers — think neon paint, glowing sensory bins, bright playdough, colorful messy play and plenty of surprises that come to life under the black lights.

Now available every Saturday! Kids can come in and work on their own projects or take advantage of our experienced instructors and learn something new. Students may also take on ambitious, ongoing projects if they would like. Studio Time can be used to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. Join us for this weekly painting classs for all ages! Our teacher will guide you through a step-by-step acrylic on canvas painting, but if you want to add your own ideas and personality to your painting - we encourage it! This is a class for all... both children and adults are welcome (ages 5+ recommended)! We will be painting on an 11x14 stretched canvas using acrylic paints.
