Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and and just plain fun! Each week we offer a variety of different media projects (acrylic painting, watercolor, plaster sculpture, mixed media, collage, printmaking, and more!). Projects change each week making it easy for campers to attend multiple weeks of camp without repeating projects, but further exploring the range and depth of mediums. We ensure a good balance between 2D and 3D projects, so whether your young artists prefers to build things and be hands on, paint, draw, or print things they'll be more than pleased! Our camps are not only fun, but an opportunity for young artists to explore art mediums that they typically do not get in school, education in art terminology and art history (including current artists). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

Does your child love books and storytelling? This week, we'll be using children's stories to inspire our artwork. With a different book each day, kids will create art that explores the connection between books, storytelling, and art. As they unleash their imagination and create their own unique interpretations and artwork, projects might include a mix of drawing, painting, sculpture, and more!

Spring Semester (Mid March-May) "Every child is an artist"-Pablo Picasso. This class provides classical instruction and skill building in art from a professional degreed artist. In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

This is the perfect class for anyone who has considered private painting lessons! Experience the joy of art as you complete your very own polished piece of artwork within a small, personalized class. Novice or experienced, expand upon your current skills; learn the basics or grow into more advanced levels while creating a meaningful masterpiece in your medium of choice. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

As summer draws to a close, we're giving campers the freedom to choose their creative adventures for the final days of camp. Each day, we'll offer a selection of activities ranging from canvas painting and ceramics to slime making and collage crafting. Campers can decide how they want to spend their day, exploring different mediums and expressing their unique artistic styles. It's a wonderful opportunity for them to dive into what they love most and end their summer with a burst of creativity and personal expression. IN THE ART GARDEN Come for a morning of creativity and hands on fun. At this camp your child will join the worlds of science and art with a sculpture of their favorite animal as a flower pot! Sculptures will be made using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted using acrylic paint. Campers come home with a completed work of art. Spaces are limited, register today. This class is designed for kindergarten through 2nd grade aged children to help them learn and develop fine motor skills through creating art! Your child will practice using scissors, holding a pencil and paint brush, and much more through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in sizes so sign your child up today!

This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, clay, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can create when you explore with your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session & seasonal, so sign-up for all sessions.

We LOVE glow in the dark camp. SO many great options this week, from canvas painting, to ceramics, slime and more!

During this week campers get to enjoy a different ceramic and slime daily. Although there are options to take part in painting on canvas instead. ​ We know going home we so many slimes and ceramics can be overwhelming - so we have you covered. From fluffy slime to glow in the dark and snow slime - we will keep the campers day filled with exciting activities!
