By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Pre-K children, (ages 1-3, side by side with an adult) OR on their own (ages 4-6), are taught to explore their imagination through art. Experience a variety of materials used to produce your weekly seasonal masterpiece. We encourage the use of fingers, hands, exploring with unlikely tools (painting with race cars, leaves, toothbrushes & more), and sometimes a mess! This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, clay, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can create when you explore with your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. ​​Furry friends make the best friends! This week we will be working in pencil, acrylics, ink, watercolor and clay! Join us as we make our way through the zoo and learn how to draw painting and sculpt some of our favorite animals.

During this week campers get to enjoy a different ceramic and slime daily. Although there are options to take part in painting on canvas instead. ​ We know going home we so many slimes and ceramics can be overwhelming - so we have you covered. From fluffy slime to glow in the dark and snow slime - we will keep the campers day filled with exciting activities!

The Kids' Digital Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session designed for ages 8 and up, introducing young artists to the world of digital drawing and painting using iPads and Procreate. Students learn the fundamentals of layering, brush techniques, color theory, and composition, while exploring their creativity through fun and engaging projects. This class helps build technical skills and confidence in digital art, preparing students for more advanced techniques in the future.

MOCHA Field Trips are a great way to spend the school year. We offer an array of art lessons and can customize curriculum based on what you are learning in your classroom. Your class or community group will participate in an engaging art lesson led by a professional teaching artist. Lessons include an educational presentation as well as opportunities for hands-on making. Each lesson is 1 hour long (Pre-K). We can accommodate up to 25 students (Pre-K). For groups larger than 25 students, a second reservation may be required and groups may need to be staggered. Students will explore art through literature by hearing a story then exploring hands on art stations related to the book. Activities will include painting, drawing, clay sculpture, color mixing, clay and collage. Enjoy fun-filled, creative summer camps filled with arts and crafts. Each week will have different projects! Our projects will include: creating a book of art over 5 days; painting a multi-step masterpiece; drawing landscapes, cartoons, and more; sculpting with wire, clay, and other materials. Our days will include two breaks to get out and be active and have your brought-from-home snacks. So come, bring a friend, make some new ones and enjoy our relaxed, creative environment, bringing home frame-worthy art and a keepsake book illustrated by your cutie pie.

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)
