Side by side with parents or caregiver (ages 1-6), our littlest artists are taught to explore their imagination through art. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Creating YOUR Unique Reflections Project This Year's Theme is "What My Culture Means to Me" The workshop will start with a discussion about the theme followed with brain storming of ideas. However, individual project ideas are kept private. An abundance of mediums and materials are available for creating individual projects. Instructors available for questions and limited help due to the nature of the competition. As is required for the Reflections contest, ALL THE IDEAS AND WORK WILL BE DONE BY THE STUDENTS.
