Through the lens of 'Musical STEMology,' we will analyze the mathematical patterns in rhythm and harmony, utilize digital technology to create soundscapes, and apply engineering principles to design custom instruments. In our STEM LEGO® class we use LEGO® bricks to teach concepts of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through a play-based model of learning. Kids construct a unique model each week using project instructions and LEGO kits. All models are interactive and classes are thematically linked to deepen and support a child’s understanding and vocabulary for STEM concepts. Each session covers new topics/subjects. Topics and discussions are geared for our younger TK, Kinders, and 1st graders. Free-play time rounds outs the class giving our students an opportunity to develop their creativity.

Curiosity Club (grades TK-2) and Curiosity Creators (grades 3-5) are STEMful after school STEAM programs. Both programs engage student in science, technology, engineering, art and math concepts. We provide pick up at near by schools, light snack and homework support. If your child is from TECA, Dolores Huerta and Alvarado, Flynn Or MEC STEMful staff will do pick at the school. If your child does not attend one of these schools, then caregiver will need to drop-off.

Energy is everywhere, but how does it actually work? Join us for an exploration of all things kinetics! This hands-on camp pulls back the curtain on the various forms of energy that power our lives. Students will investigate the 'hidden motion' of the universe, learning how the movement of tiny electrons, atoms, and molecules creates the physical world we see. Through creative engineering challenges and scientific experiments, your young scientist will master the principles of kinetic energy from the microscopic level to the massive.

This DIY Engineering workshop provides all the materials needed to build Car , ferris wheel, rolling belt , plane etc. A fun and engaging STEM project, it’s perfect for kids aged 8-12. Participants will assemble the models using 3D wooden or plastic pieces, creating the full working mechanisms. The finished models are great for displaying on a table, shelf, or in a child’s bedroom, playroom, or study area. Kids will feel a sense of pride as they see their creations come to life and actually move. Through building the remote car and electric train, children will develop important skills like hand-eye coordination, creative thinking, and physical and intellectual growth.

For returning SeaPerchers only! Over the course of this hands-on program, you'll expand on your ROV build and design. More than preschool. A place where curiosity becomes learning. The Snapology Early Learning Lab is a small-group, instructor-led educational enrichment program where children learn through building, exploration, creativity, and play. We use LEGO® bricks and other hands-on materials as tools to teach engineering, science, technology, math, literacy, creativity, and critical thinking—not simply how to build with LEGO. Each class introduces real STEM concepts through exciting themes like dinosaurs, animal science, space, engineering, simple machines, nature, weather, and introductory robotics. Through stories, games, experiments, building challenges, and creative projects, children develop school-readiness skills while learning to ask questions, solve problems, collaborate, and discover why things work. Unlike many larger preschool settings, our Early Learning Lab features small class sizes, allowing instructors to personalize activities, support each child's development, and provide additional challenges as they grow. Whether your child is new to STEM or already loves to build, they'll be encouraged to think, create, and explore in a fun, engaging environment. While designed for potty-trained children ages 3–6, Children up to age 8 with developmental or learning differences may also be a good fit. Participants must be able to engage safely in a small-group setting without one-on-one support.
