Unlock your child’s inner engineer! In this hands-on enrichment class, 2nd and 3rd graders use LEGO® bricks to explore the fundamentals of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through our play-based curriculum, students build a brand-new, interactive model each week—ranging from motorized machines to architectural marvels. Every session introduces a fresh STEM theme designed to expand their technical vocabulary and problem-solving skills. In our STEM LEGO® class we use LEGO® bricks to teach concepts of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through a play-based model of learning. Kids construct a unique model each week using project instructions and LEGO kits. All models are interactive and classes are thematically linked to deepen and support a child’s understanding and vocabulary for STEM concepts. Each session covers new topics/subjects. Topics and discussions are geared for 2nd through 5th graders. Free-play time rounds outs the class giving our students an opportunity to develop their creativity.
