About Mocha

Our museum offers a broad variety of programs including interactive exhibits, artists-in-residence, open studios, art parties, field trips, and art camps. MOCHA teaching artists lead residencies in Bay Area schools, libraries and after-school sites through our School andCommunity Programs. We also support educators and teachers in integrating art into their curriculum and school culture. Our programs reach over 25,000 children and family members each year.more

OFFSITE Field Trips (Pre-K)

by MOCHA

MOCHA Field Trips are a great way to spend the school year. We offer an array of art lessons and can customize curriculum based on what you are learning in your classroom. Your class or community group will participate in an engaging art lesson led by a professional teaching artist. Lessons include an educational presentation as well as opportunities for hands-on making. Each lesson is 1 hour long (Pre-K). We can accommodate up to 25 students (Pre-K). For groups larger than 25 students, a second reservation may be required and groups may need to be staggered. Students will explore art through literature by hearing a story then exploring hands on art stations related to the book. Activities will include painting, drawing, clay sculpture, color mixing, clay and collage.
