Riesa Fischer
Instructor
I am a NYS certified K-12 art teacher, Art Therapist, and mom who loves working with kids and making art. I understand children in a way that makes it easy for me to show them how to relax, explore and create in an environment that feels good!
Christina Kampson
Instructor
Christina Kampson is a Long Island based illustrator/artist. Her work has a strong whimsical style that appeals to both children and adults. She creates entire worlds in her works with her unique use of bright colors and stylized drawing. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute in Communication Design (Illustration, Graphic Design, & Advertising) and is currently pursuing her MS in Art Education. In this class, students will get their hands on many different materials to create artwork as they learn and develop their art skills. The elements of art and design will be taught in this fun, laid-back, and very safe environment, taught by a certified art teacher! All supplies are included! Children may bring a water bottle but NO FOOD will be eaten in the studio. ONLY CHILDREN are permitted inside the studio. (Parents must drop off in front of the studio.)
