I am a PCA at a local elementary school. My student is on the Autism spectrum and I spend the day monitoring his behavior, administrating rewards when earned and overall make sure he is learning in the best environment for him. I encourage social interactions between my student and the rest of his classmates. When student is appropriately engaged in activity I will help other students with their work. I am also an assistant coach for the boys varsity ice hockey team at Lower Merion High School. I was in charge of the offense. I would help write the lines for the games and help come up with drills for practice.

Summer Nanny
Throughout high school, undergrad and graduate school my source of income was babysitting, care taking, and nannying. I am currently working as an in-school counselor and am lucky to have summer's off. My professional working experience includes school social work at the elementary, middle, and high school levels working with children with emotional and behavioral challenges. I also served as a family service coordinator in 3 different childcare facilities focusing on Head Start in North Philadelphia. I am comfortable driving, cooking or putting together meals, cleaning, laundry, and other things around the house. I hold a safe driving record and have PA criminal and child abuse clearances up to date. The common theme with my work experience is a love for children and families. I truly care about my work with people and fostering positive relationships with them. I am confident that my skills with child care have prepared me to be an excellent candidate for a summer nanny job.

I need an RN or LPN to perform fill-in duties related to my wife's medication pump which is visible (in brown leather case) in the accompanying photo. This would only be necessary on the occasions when I would be away from our house for work or rest. These duties need to be performed at 6AM, and again at 9PM, with connection in the morning and disconnection in the evening. Stoma care is included in this job, along with flushing her peg tubes of medication at night. Each job does not require more than a half hour. I would prefer to work with someone who lives nearby and can become a friendly, trustworthy member of our care team. I also employ a live-in caregiver who is here round the clock, so these duties are circumscribed. Punctuality and professional competence are a must. I pay by check with 1099's issued according to IRS regulations.
