Corri understands children who learn differently very well. My son has Asperger's, Anxiety and ADHD so learning his Bar Mitzvah Torah portion was a bit of a challenge. He really blew us all away and I feel that hiring Corri to help him was the #1 reason along with everyone's flexibility. Corri shared a lot of our values, she was calm and patient, and was super tolerant of al of our animals climbing all over her! She always took our son's needs and wants into consideration and would ask him directly how he felt about things. Our son was able to do so much more than we had expected! Corri made the process seamless and communicated well with our synagogue. Corri has a lot of knowledge about challenges that come with ADHD and was also very patient with us when we were stressed as well. Even post-Bar Mitzvah, Corri has stayed in touch and truly cares about how our son is doing 2 years later. I highly recommend Corri for this type of learner, or a traditional learner.

I'm a college theater major and national award-winning writer on a gap year (thanks, COVID). I have experience teaching theater and creative writing classes at elementary, middle, and high school levels, and serving as a peer writing tutor for several years. I would be available to tutor a full range of academic subjects with a specialty in writing and reading comprehension. Additionally, having recently completed the college process with admittances to a number of highly selective schools, I could also provide personalized prep regarding applications and supplemental essays. I could tutor privately or for a small pod of kids, in person (wearing masks) or virtually. I have had all of my background checks recently updated, and am CPR certified. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.

Brenden is fantastic and he will become an indispensable part of your family life immediately! He has a fun and open personality that captivates even the most unenthusiastic or shy child. My daughter was nervous, but he won her over in the first five minutes and she continually asks for more time with him. He both comes with his own creative ideas for his time with your child and lets them lead with their own interests and ideas. He has the wonderful combination of intelligence, a vibrancy for life, and the ability to transfer both of these gifts to relate to children. He is so reliable it is simply a nonissue. (He is the babysitter or tutor your friend has that you wish you could steal!) Any family and child would be lucky to have Brenden in their lives!
