About James

Greetings, My name is James , and I am writing to make known my interest in tutoring students. I am a 24 year veteran math teacher and instructional coach. I have taught middle and high school math, and I hold a level II PA certification in mathematics, grades 7-12. I am also experienced with online learning platforms. As an educator, I bring a unique combination of content knowledge, compassion, pedagogical expertise, humor, and a love of teaching. I understand that education is based on building trusting relationships with students and families. My gift is an ability to meet students where they are; not just academically, but where they are regarding their attitudes toward math, and building motivation.
