The Personal Assistant You've Been Searching For...

Looking for some assistance to help make your day run smoother and alleviate some stress? Perhaps your schedule is busy and you could use a hand. Maybe you own your own profession, but would like someone to do the smaller tasks so that you can really focus on your career. You've come to the right person! Whether it's child care, pet sitting, maintaining your place while away, filing, joining you for an event, or assistance with your business. I have experience with all of the above, and more! I am comfortable with meeting new people and am a "jack of all trades", if you will. I love learning and am willing to take on a multiple different tasks. My goal is to help care for YOUR needs! I look forward to meeting you and assisting you in whatever it may be. :) **I do accept clients outside NYC in New Jersey, Connecticut, or PA as well depending on the job and pay. I hired Peace recently to help me with my newborn infant and some errands. She not only punctual and gave a live ETA of her arrival, but also called to confirm the day before our her appointment. What helped me decide to choose her was her bio and certifications. Having a C section made going up and down the stairs not possible for a few weeks as well as painful with my recent birth. Peace was very attentive to not only my sons needs but mine as well. I have had some horrible experiences in the past during my pregnant by "assistants" who would just stay on their phone or seem angry to do the job I was paying them for! For the first time since the delivery, I felt I was able to just relax and take a deep breathe. I slept well at night knowing that my son had a caretaker in the other room to watch him and care for him when he would awaken. It is clear that she has worked with newborns in the past. My husband and I are considering long term help and would hire her again!

Part Or Full-Time Caregiver Available

(5)
I've had the opportunity to work part-time with a gentleman with a form of progressive MS for the past 10 years. My goal is to enhance his quality of life by assisting him with everyday activities and promoting his physical well being. Daily activities include: Providing physical therapy exercises for strength and range of motion, as well as massage and acupressure; assisting him at breakfast; transferring him from bed to his wheelchair, and from wheelchair to toilet and back; hand washing, shampooing, shaving, brushing teeth and dressing; assisting him with a hand urinal; administering medications and vitamin supplements; setting up and assisting with his computer and pretty much whatever he may need at the time. I deeply value the bond and friendship that has developed over the years and have had the privilege of helping this kind, determined, and courageous man. I feel a personal mission to support his well being in any way that I can. I also had the joy of working with a gentleman with Alzheimer's, until his recent passing. My role with hm included working with his family to monitor his overall care at a memory care facility. My goal was to enhance his quality of life, encourage his interest in the world around him, and promote his mental and physical well being. Daily activities included: Walking with him indoors and outdoors to promote his balance and strength while securing his safety; engaging him verbally and with pictures and music to enrich his experience and maximize his mental ability; using my experience as a massage therapist - providing him with physical therapy exercises for strength, range of motion, and balance, as well as acupressure and massage; assisting him at meal times to encourage his independence, as well as social skills in the dining room. I would also assist with traveling to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, some light cooking, making sure he was adequately hydrated, art and music, and some personal care.

***I have recently found a nanny position and I'm longer available at this time.*** I have been an RN for 23 years who made a career change to work in childcare. I have not worked as an RN since the beginning of February & my previous RN position was as a supervisor in an office with no direct client contact. I am the mother of a 13-year-old girl & an aunt of 9 children. I have cared for children of all ages. I am a caring, reliable & patient person & I have a highly creative mind & unique play style. I love to challenge kids & get them excited & involved in their activities. I am comfortable with pets & I can help with light housekeeping/laundry. I am also a non-smoker & have my own vehicle. I am CPR certified, have my criminal background check & my child abuse clearance completed & are available upon request. My current nanny position will end on June 5th. I am really looking forward to assisting a family with raising happy & healthy children.

Christine is great with babies and children! We hired her to watch our baby daughter F. throughout the week and also help a little bit with our two older kids (ages 9 and 12). She is always punctual but also flexible and willing to work around our schedule. And, she really cares about children and does a great job of engaging our daughter throughout the day - reading to and playing with her and taking her on walks. Our daughter F. is always thrilled to see Christine and remains happy throughout their time together. Our daily time with Christine has come to an end due to changes in our needs, but we will miss her and will always call her first when we need a sitter for the baby.
