I'm looking for hands-on care for my mother in her 60s. Schedule Details: My mother, Robin, has stage 4 small cell lung cancer. We are looking for someone who can help with various tasks, like loading and unloading her dishwasher, keeping the house organized (not deep cleaning), walking her dog, taking her to doctors appointments, making her coffee, light grocery shopping, preparing meals (i. e., dishing yogurt/ cereal, making sandwiches), and regularly making celery juice. Generally, she is self sufficient with bathing, clothing, laundry and the like, but but we'd like someone at least on the premises in the event that she should fall. The ideal candidate will check on her frequently, make sure she's feeling okay, and will be provided with a list of numbers for any medical emergencies. Caretaker does not necessarily need to be on site from 7:30-6pm, and may not be needed every single day. However, we ask that they be available in the event that they are needed during requested days and times. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained.
