Senior Care

I have 20 plus years of experience caring for individuals of all ages. I'm a kind, compassionate caregiver with a personality that does not ruffle easily. Dependable and reliable, you can be assured that your loved one will truly be cared for while you are gone. I am a certified medical assistant and have completed 4 years of nursing school. I have 2 years experience working in hospital, rehab, and extended care. I also have home health care experience. I am proficient, professional, and conscientious with ostemy, drains, and other personal care and hygiene issues. I have worked with Alzheimer's/dementia, diabetes, stroke, post surgery, limited mobility, mobility recovery, MS, thyroid, seizures, open and closed head trauma, and much more. I am willing to transport to and sit in on medical appointments to help with continuity of care. I'm honest and trustworthy, a non-smoker, a good cook, a smiling face, and a friendly spirit. Let's talk about your care needs!

Lisa is wonderful! I hired her from my couch in South Carolina to help with my mother who is house bound. Lisa went above and beyond- nor only did she help make sure her health issues were addressed but she cleaned and helped my mother with doctor's appointments and important issues like her phone not working. Lisa would check in on her when I couldn't get ahold of my mom by phone. I felt much more at ease knowing that someone like Lisa was close by to assist with my mom. She even snapped pics of mom to forward to me so I could actually see how she was doing. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants quality care for someone they love.

FAQs for finding senior care

What are my senior care options?

When it comes to creating a care plan for an elder loved one, there are different alternatives to explore depending on the wishes of the senior and their family, and the level of care needed. Some of the options are:

  • In-home senior care is a great option for seniors who want to stay at home and just need a companion for daily activities.
  • Nursing assistants can provide medical assistance for seniors in the comfort of their own home.
  • Dementia care is a suitable choice for elders with Alzheimer's or dementia who need specialized care at home.
  • Senior transportation is an option for finding caregivers who can drive your loved ones as needed for errands or doctor appointments.
  • Assisted living facilities are helpful when it's more convenient to move the senior person into a monitored residence where they can receive assistance with their daily activities and socialize with other residents.

Are senior care providers background checked?
