Senior Care And Companion — Austin, TX
I have experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, and stroke clients with all general companion needs. I am a healthy 55-year-old, and an excellent cook. I enjoy taking my clients on outings, (if possible) to keep them engaged socially. I have been responsible for: dressing, bathing, feeding, refilling and dispensing medication, doctor's appointments, grocery and personal shopping, calendaring, daily companionship, pet care and light housekeeping. These positions require patience, kindness, and most of all respect for the client. I like knowing that I bring some comfort, security, and happiness when I arrive to care for them. It's very rewarding to see them smile and enjoy themselves during our visits together, (I love my clients' pets as well). I'm easy going and flexible to keep things running smoothly. I am a non-smoker, I have an English degree, perfect driving record, and spotless background.

Senior And Child/Infant Specialist — Austin, TX
I've been a stay at home mom for 18 years and worked part time as a Yoga/Personal Trainer. During these years I came to learn that personal attention, mindfulness, and human contact were very important to me. I am passionate about "humanistic care" with seniors, children, infants, and animals. Taking the time to listen, respond, and care for any person is what I do best. Getting Seniors and children to do what they can for their independence and well being is very important as a caregiver.

Senior Caretaker Part-Time — Austin, TX
I worked in various treatment facilities in the health care setting prior to staying home to raise my 4 children. The turning point for me in deciding that I wanted to work primarily with the elderly occurred after I spent much time caring for my own elderly parents who were having health issues (out of state). I found this extremely rewarding and made me very aware of the type of care that I wanted for my own family. And, in turn, the type of care I would like to give to someone else. I spent the last 3 years working with a fabulous family taking care of their elderly mother until she transitioned to a memory care facility. I worked hard to help make all of their lives a bit easier. I am dependable, caring, honest, and will give your loved one the respect and attention they deserve.

Personal Care Attandant: Full Time — Austin, TX
My first experience taking care of seniors was when I cared for my mother after she had an operation. I cleaned and packed her wound as recommended by the Nurse and Doctor. The majority of my mothers friends are seniors so I assist them along with my mother. I make them healthy meals, make sure they take the correct medicine at the correct time, verify the medicines are the correct dosage and take them to their appointments. I truly enjoying caring for seniors. It makes me happy to help them.

Part Time Caregiver — Austin, TX
My passion for seniors started at a young age. My mother and father always had one or two senior neighbors that they cared for. As a kid I became comfortable hanging out with seniors and helping them with day to day things was just part of my normal life. After raising my children, I have been volunteering with a senior meal delivery program and do two routes a week. I also volunteer with an agency that drives seniors to appointments. In addition for the last two years, I have "adopted" an elderly woman from our church that I bring shopping once a week, bring to her doctor appointments, and my husband and I also assist her with other chores/things as needed. I am patient, reliable, and caring. I have a great sense of humor (needed with the elderly) and love to hear old stories (even more than once). I would love to meet with you to see if I would be the right "fit" to help out with your loved one.
