Love Seniors And Would Like To Help
It started six years ago with my Father, he fell no one could get in touch with him, so we went to his apartment, opened the door and he was on the floor for and couldn't get up. At this point I gave up my apartment and moved in with him. He had Rheumatoid arthritis, Ulcer, Bowel problems, trouble walking. We purchased a scooter so he could still be independent. Move on to 4 years later he could not control himself and had trouble swallowing. I cleaned him, made Doctor appointments went with him, cooked light foods, dressed him, and did whatever I possibly could.

Senior Care Provider/Companion
The wiser the adult the more history and I respect such. I've assisted in caring for my grandmother for many, many years. As soon as I had a driver's license, at 15 years old, I became her personal assistant. I enjoyed every moment and appreciated her more and more. I was one of many caregivers (family, round the clock nurses) to her until her passing last November. It is a lot of work, but the love and companionship is what they need, when losing vision, physical abilities, etc. Having cared for her, included entertaining and caring for her friends as well if they visited. They have paved the way for us, so me doing what I can to assist them in anyway, has been a pleasure and I would love to help another family do the same with their loved one.

Senior Care/Companion/Help With Meals Or Running Errands
I currently care for a 94-year-old for whom I assist with daily hygienic needs, run errands and plan, shop and prepare meals. I manage medications, take her for daily walks and assist with exercises etc. Past experience: I was a live -in caregiver for a 63-year-old with Cadasil and was totally dependent and could not be left alone except while sleeping. I did every thing with her and kept her safe. I was companion for a 75-year-old male with early dementia in conjunction with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart condition and other complications. I was responsible for completely running the household including making sure he took his medications, bath, meals. I cooked and baked nutritious meals and prepared meals for his guests whenever needed. I made sure he took a shower every day and helped him with it. I also helped him dress so that his clothes were appropriate for the weather and the colors matched. He always looked sharp and smelled great. I am compassionate and kind and take great care of the elderly with much love.
