I am a natural, kind caregiver who benefits the person whom I am attending as well as giving piece of mind to the family that all is well. I have experience from caring for three elderly parents which enabled them to live independently and stay in their own homes. For the past 10 years, I have been asked to assist seven wonderful people all with different care needs. I have experience in dealing with dementia, wheel chair transfers, incontinence care, bathing, meal preparation, home care, medicine management and more as needed, and I have references to this claim. I have found that my services are greatly needed with our older population and I enjoy being able to connect with someone who has many stories to tell, much wisdom to share and who needs a kind heart to listen. My cooking skills are vast; I am very organized and good with accounting, shopping, transportation, matters of the home such as laundry and cleaning. So, if you need your loved one to have someone come to them, or perhaps come to me, have meals prepared, take them on errands or doctor appointments, get out and see a movie or lunch somewhere, prepare a dinner for a special occasion, manage their bills, keep their environment in balance and more than give me a call. I have passed my background check, have a strong background in finance, own my home, I have an excellent driving record and nice car. I am reliable and able to offer flexibility. Thank you for reading.

Senior Care / Household Helper

Responds within a day
I am an experienced, personable, compassionate Caregiver/Companion. I have a small clientele of seniors that I visit each week to do a little shopping, cooking, personal care, and household tidying. I have also helped many clients organize their homes, downsize and move. Recently I have been working with hospice patients and have extensive experience with all types of personal care. My references are impeccable. I can visit just once a week to get a lot done, or several times a week for shorter visits. Would you or someone you love benefit from a little assistance by someone known & trusted from your own neighborhood? I live & prefer to work in West Seattle, but can travel farther for the right clients. Call me and we can chat about your needs and see if this would be a good fit.

Diane is both an amazing organizer and an amazing caregiver. She really understands and honors the connection we have with our treasured possessions, and helped me decide what to keep and get rid of. after my husband passed away. She made a project of creating photo albums from the old photos that accumulate in every family. And she was a wonderful and compassionate caregiver to my 90-year-old mother...a fastidious cleaner and a terrific cook! But her best quality is the way she listens to and cares about the people she is helping. Five Stars!!!
