Nurturing & Experienced Nanny

(2)
Hello, my name is Carlene & I have 6 years experience nannying children ages 4 months- 4 years old. I love being a part of little ones life; to positively influence and bring joy to their lives. As a musician, yogi, and actor, I bring fun and creativity each day. With toddlers, I encourage movement activities and nature exploration, and use skills I learned as a piano/voice teacher to work through conflict in a calm and respectful manner. With babies, I talk to them a lot to encourage speech early on and help them as they develop their kinetic and social awareness. I will go for walks every day, rain or shine! I believe fresh air and observing other people/places is so important to children's growth and helps to calm the nervous system. I am very comfortable with diaper changes, potty training, feeding, bottles, and CPR/first aid. Your child will always be my top priority on the job, but I also like to help maintain a clean household so all can be at more peace.

Carlene is a great nanny! She's worked for us since our little guy was 5 months old. Most importantly she makes him feel safe and has fun with him. They go on long walks, watch the kids at the park, play on the floor with toys, read books, and much more. She's been super patient with him when he's teething, sick, or just having a bad day. Also, her detailed notes and communication has made it very easy for us to monitor what our baby has been up to. We really appreciate the love and compassion Carlene brings to this profession!
