About Hannah

Hello! My name is Hannah and I am a Physics Ph. D. graduate student at UW-Seattle. I have experience teaching piano, physics, and math to students of all ages. I studied classical piano repertoire for approximately 17 years and was a piano performance scholarship recipient at Willamette University. Throughout high school, I guided young students in developing their foundational skills to becoming strong and talented pianists. My time as a piano teacher taught me the importance of creating a welcoming, patient, and friendly environment for students who are learning a new discipline or instrument. Additionally, I held numerous tutoring positions throughout high school and college where I assisted students in a wide range of math and physics classes. Through these positions, I learned the importance of making difficult concepts more approachable so students can feel confident in their ability to solve complex problems.
