Fun Energetic Sitter.
I'm a 46-year-old mother of three adult children with 30 years of childcare experience. I love the curious spirit of children, and find activities that promote learning. I enjoy playing games, arts and crafts and reading with children. I have worked with children ages 0 months - 16 years in my time in childcare and am familiar with pick up/drop off routines, homework help, meal planning, wild scheduling, light housework, and more. As a childcare professional, I aim to be patient, loving, and accommodating to the families that I work for and with. I pride myself on being willing to try almost any activity. I have experience with special needs children and am comfortable carrying for all ages. If you are looking for a mature sitter who will spend quality time with your children, I'm for you. I've been a personal assistant and household manager for the last 7 years, a position I loved. Unfortunately the family has moved to another state. I have currently been sitting for several families.

I am a stay-at-home mom for 20 years to two wonderful children and a longtime community volunteer. I've worked with kids for almost two decades. The services I can provide include helping with homework and class projects, reading and cultural experiences, museum and park outings, and arts and crafts. I can provide before -and after -school care, meal prep and cooking, light housework and local transportation. My experiences outside of raising my own children include being a Girl Scout leader for 13 years, a Cub Scout den mother for one year, and a Boy Scout assistant scoutmaster for four years. For four years, I was a youth and toddler art instructor at the preschool and elementary school levels. As a parent, I was an elementary school volunteer for eight years which included art instruction in the kindergarten classes and multifaceted "World Cultures Day" projects for various grade levels. I worked in collaboration with an architect with the 4th and 5th graders on the "Eco Project".

Fun, Loving, Tutor
Most of my experience is working with kids kindergarten through fifth grade. I thoroughly enjoy that age group and find that this is one of the best times to help a child out if they are struggling. I struggled a lot in school with learning difficulties myself, I needed a lot of extra time and one on one help to understand. Thankfully to my wonderful tutors and mentors, I was able to learn just as well as the other kids, this is what drives me to help other children!

Hi families! I tutor children from preschool to 5th grade in reading, phonics, writing, and math. I am currently a special education teacher in Queen Anne, Seattle, WA. I moved here from NJ where I taught kindergarten through 4th grade and received training in various reading/phonics programs. I went to Rider University for my bachelor's degree and received three teaching certifications: Elementary Education K-6, Teacher of Students with Disabilities, and Early Childhood Education P-3. Before I began teaching, I spent seven summers as a camp counselor with groups of 1st and 2nd graders. I am incredibly passionate about teaching and look forward to helping your children be successful and reach their full potentials. Reach out to me and I will create an individualized program for your child based on his/her specific needs and learning goals.

I love teaching and work with the kids, so I always looked for the volunteers and work studies related to teaching in the college. I have pretty much tutoring experiences, and I had worked with the kids from different age groups. The age group I mostly work with is the elementary school students. I volunteered as a teaching assistant in the School for the program. I helped the students on their readings, math, and Chinese homework during the class, and also develop some activities based on the festival during the school year. I also joined an after-school program in Green Lake Elementary school to tutor the kids on their reading, math homework, and some writings. We mostly did reading by asking the students to choose the book in the school library based on their levels. I also used many tools to help the student on math if they had homework. In addition, I also some phonics or math games with them at the end of every time we finished doing the work.
