I am a natural, kind caregiver who benefits the person whom I am attending as well as giving piece of mind to the family that all is well. I have experience from caring for three elderly parents which enabled them to live independently and stay in their own homes. For the past 10 years, I have been asked to assist seven wonderful people all with different care needs. I have experience in dealing with dementia, wheel chair transfers, incontinence care, bathing, meal preparation, home care, medicine management and more as needed, and I have references to this claim. I have found that my services are greatly needed with our older population and I enjoy being able to connect with someone who has many stories to tell, much wisdom to share and who needs a kind heart to listen. My cooking skills are vast; I am very organized and good with accounting, shopping, transportation, matters of the home such as laundry and cleaning. So, if you need your loved one to have someone come to them, or perhaps come to me, have meals prepared, take them on errands or doctor appointments, get out and see a movie or lunch somewhere, prepare a dinner for a special occasion, manage their bills, keep their environment in balance and more than give me a call. I have passed my background check, have a strong background in finance, own my home, I have an excellent driving record and nice car. I am reliable and able to offer flexibility. Thank you for reading.

Certified Nursing Assistant And Caregiver

I have been a professional Certified Nursing Assistant licensed through the state of WA for nearly 10 years working in a variety of settings. I started this career path with work experience in an Assisted Living facility and worked closely with folks battling Dementia. I then transitioned for the next 8 years into a rural critical access hospital that specialized in rehabilitation, mostly working with our senior population. While there, I also worked within the therapy department assisting all disciplines of therapists and managed my own caseload of patient's restorative therapies. I ventured out on my own when a friend asked for help with her mother after having surgery, and from there I worked as a live in caregiver for several months on a referral. Currently, I provide private, in-home care for 3 different clients. My references can be provided upon request.

Our family was incredibly fortunate to have Carolyn care for my 90 + year old grandparents. As the family members, it was amazing to have someone with such professionalism and communication keep us up to date on everything that was going on. For my grandparents, she brought a level of organization and care that created an incredibly comfortable home. We interviewed many caregivers before selecting Carolyn who had impeccable references and was clearly a great fit from the moment we met her. She handled the ups and downs of elder care with a positive, can-do attitude. Our family is forever grateful for Carolyn's care and would be happy to speak in more detail to anyone looking for the best care for their family members.
