Experienced Pet/House Sitter Available For Home/Overnight Care — Seattle, WA
Hello! I will be attending the UW nursing school starting in June, and have been successfully combining my love with animals and my need to save as much money as possible for school! For the past 2 years, I have cared for dogs, cats, chickens, reptiles, birds, and rodents. I am responsible, clean, reliable, honest, and caring. I have been pet/house sitting for over a decade and can provide you with MANY references. I understand the stress of leaving your pet home alone while out of town, and wish to assure you that I will actually be there, spending time with your animal and making sure they are comfortable, healthy, and happy. I am athletic and love taking dogs on walks or runs! I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and feel I am well aware of what an ill or agitated animal looks like and how to respond. I feel confident administering medication (oral pills, eye drops, ear drops, ointments, inhalers) and caring for animals with severe separation anxiety.

Experienced Pet And House Sitter — Seattle, WA
Hi there! I'm a recent graduate from University of Washington college student in my senior year hoping to pick up a fun side job to help pay for tuition at the I absolutely adore animals! I grew up with hamsters, bunnies, cats and dogs. I've trained several dogs (Husky-Lab mix, Australian Cattle Dog, Alaskan Malamute, German Shepherd) and was a member of Dog 4-H for 5 years. I haven't trained in quite a while but will certainly practice obedience with your dog (sit, down, stay, come, touch, etc.) if you would like! I also love running, hiking and spending time outdoors and would be happy to exercise with your dog! I have a lot of experience pet/house sitting and am happy to give references. I don't have a car but use public transportation on a daily-basis so if you have a bus stop within a mile-radius of your house, I'm happy to make the trip. I also have a ZipCar membership (similar to a rental car) if you have a last-minute emergency and need immediate pet care, though I will ask you to pay for that cost which is about $8-10/hour. I'm friendly, patient, enthusiastic and look forward to meeting your family and pets!

Rate Is For Overnight In Your Home, Better For Pet — Seattle, WA
Keep your pet at home where it feels safe and is comfortable. I started overnight sitting in February 2014, after taking 5 dogs to Seattle from a kill shelter to a rescue. Never having been to the NW, I fell in love with it. I soon started pet sitting with my first sit in Vancouver, WA for an elusive indoor cat. I have sat an old dog with an old cat in Bonney Lake, 2 Maltese in West Seattle, 2 cats on Banbridge Island, twice and Anchorage, Alaska for a small poodle, a German shepherd, a gecko, and a turtle. I will travel. I was in Upstate NY in February for 3 weeks and have been in Ontario, Canada for a month. I am currently in Kansas City for a few weeks. Lost my own older dog to liver failure. I have three others who love my roommate, so this enables me to help others.
