Mary Poppins On Your Doorstep

My name is Kristin. I am a 46-year-old National Board certified professional school teacher with 20 years nanny, teaching/ tutoring and classroom experience. I have worked with age 4 mos to high school . I have comfort and ease handling any management situation or learning style. I have worked with Cystic Fibrosis, PTSD, Op-positional Defiant disorder, Autism, Dyslexia & other differences. I enjoy one-on-one attention, adventures outdoors, & seeing children develop in their natural home environment. I come with a registered 12 lb. hypoallergenic medical service dog, Zeb, who delights in small children, babies and is professionally trained, quiet, docile and calm. I am looking for a full time live out or live-in position . I meet needs for online learning, home-school possibilities, or alternative curriculum. I am following very strict CDC guidelines and quarantine precautions. I cant wait to meet your wonderful family!

Kristin excels at imaginative play with kids, an incredible gift in this age of screen time. Nurturing kids' ability to play and express their creativity has meaningful and lasting positive effects. Her experience as an art teacher at all levels have given her the ability to plan and follow through on a number of simple to complex art projects that best meet the developmental stage and age group of the students. She uses art to teach important concepts related to math and patterns, as well as literacy (reading and learning the alphabet).
