I have worked with children for over 20 years. I enjoy working with children Ages 2 months-14 years with more experience with birth to 3 years of age. I have worked in the professional business arena but come back to childcare by choice. I'm energetic, considerate to the parents request and know the value I bring to the table. I am looking to help the right family be able to walk out the door (or to their home office) and not have to think twice how their child is doing. I have the most experience in newborns to 3 years but having said that, for the right family and the right kids, age of the children isn't my focus in my employment search. Ideally, I am looking for 1-3 days a week, which can be long days, but open to more days based on the situation and drive time. I like to get outdoors daily and explore. Reading books and singing is included daily. I have a BA in English. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have received both my Covid vaccines and am current on all vaccines.

Margaret watched my 2.5 year old two days a week for a 4 month period over the summer. She was incredibly professional: communicative, punctual, and reliable. She was also incredibly knowledgeable and willing to offer advice when solicited, but was also very respectful and supportive of our parenting decisions. She gave us valuable support during several difficult transitions, including potty training, crib to bed, and undoing picky eating habits. Margaret was also extremely thoughtful and frequently brought over activities to do with my daughter. She even tidied up the house and told me if I left a clean house, I'd come home to one - and she always held true to it! I truly felt so supported and cared for by Margaret. I also knew my daughter was in good hands with someone who knew how to keep her safe and healthy. I would 100% rehire Margaret - she's an absolute gem!
