Hi, my name is Sarah. I live in West Seattle. I truly enjoy seeing the spark in a child's eyes when they discover or learn something new! I am very dependable, driven, and organized. I'm a big fan of cleaning up the messes as we go. Always safety first, fun second. I know that every child is different, every family is different and I love being an integral part in helping you manage your house. Experience: I started working with children as a babysitter for multiple families, ages ranging 4 mos- 12 yrs, while also volunteering in my church's nursery, assisting to look after 6-12 children ages 6-24mos. For two yrs I was a live-in weekend nanny, two children ages 2-5 yrs. After that, for three yrs I was part time for 4 families equaling full time hrs, ages 0mos-10yrs. I was with my last family for almost 2 yrs, 3 children ages 3-8 yrs. My most recent family is three children, ages 1-6 yrs.

I have had the pleasure of growing up in an in-home daycare/preschool environment. My mother has operated an in-home daycare/preschool out of our home since 1995. I started to lend a helping hand at the tender age of 12. In the past, I was a lead preschool teacher responsible for the developmental growth and well-being of all the children in our care. Singing, dancing, reading stories, arts and crafts are just some of the things we do on a day-to-day basis. I am very confident working with children of all ages, it's second nature to me. I have also carry some experience in nannying as well. I have had the privilege of working with several different families in the area. I have worked with families that have had anywhere from infant to four years of age, with some families having more than 1 child. All the relationships differ. Five families that I have either babysat or nannied for was a direct connection from the three different daycares, I worked for in the past. The other three families I have assisted was from word of mouth. I absolutely love working with kids, helping them learn, explore and grow in healthy positive environments.

My name is Mackenzie and I just graduated from college and moved back home to the Seattle area. I recently started working at Seattle Children's Hospital as a pediatric nurse and am looking for families to help part time and on date nights! I am an outgoing, caring, creative and energetic person who loves to laugh, bake, be in the outdoors, and help others. When I was in middle school, I took a certified babysitting class and have been working with children my whole life. I used to babysit neighbor kids and those who lived close by when I was younger. I As I got older, I became a more permanent sitter for some families and worked as a para educator with special needs children. I have experience nannying and working with all ages, including infants and teenagers. I look forward to meeting new families to see if I'd be a good fit and someone to care for your children (:

I am available to be a full-time nanny or a part-time nanny. I am creative and imaginative looking to play with your child(ren) and give them the care they need when you can't. Some ideas of time we can spend together are playing musical instruments you have, I read sheet music and play the piano, flute and drums. We can make art projects with the kids like plays, we film with your camera, jewelry materials you have for older children, drawing projects and finger painting. Reading is important and I am happy to sit and read for some quiet time or do homework. Other ideas to engage your child in learning is going to parks, exploring plants, beaches, swing sets, the zoo and the children's museum. I am going to school to finish my BA in Psychology at night so being off work by 6:30 p.m. is important to me one or two nights a week. I will graduate in June and continue my education in a Master's Program. Therefore, I am looking for a long term placement. I have extensive knowledge of learning disabilities. I owned a cleaning company for 15 years and can continue to do light house cleaning chores such as organizing a room, laundry, errands and cooking. I know the main purpose is to play with your kids and that would be my primary focus. During times of long naps, I am happy to help you around the house. I have my own SUV and enjoy pets. I am a non-smoker. I would like to meet with you soon to discuss the contributions I can make to your family. Thank you for your time and consideration. Linda
