French Babysitter

Avg response < 1 hrs
**SCHOOL CLOSURE AVAILABLE FOR CHILD CARE ** Hello parents, in those time of uncertainty I would like to offer my service as Nanny/babysitter. I am myself affected by the closure as I am a teacher assistant in a French immersion preschool. I have more than 6 year experience with children and was a Nanny before with full resume and references. I am CPR and first Aid certified, I have a level 1 clearance card and a clean driving record. Please contact me through the app. The school I work at will be close supposedly until the 30th of March but it might be longer. I am located in the Goodyear/Avondale area but was commuting into Tempe for work so I am pretty flexible and will adapt to you. Marine.

Marine worked for me part time (3 days a week). She took good care of my 5 yr old boy and 3 yr old girl. She was reliable and flexible with sick days and snow days (helped me by working extra hours when I was in a pinch). She fed my kids very healthy lunches (always looking for a way to incorporate veggies!) and she listened to/executed my wishes (My kids watched essentially no TV while she was with them). During naps, I could leave her a list of tasks to help with (e.g kids laundry or picking up toys etc) and she always helped! She was always responsive to my texts or would communicate with me if she had a question. Very sweet sitter. If anyone wants to talk to me in person, just ask her for my number and I'd be willing to give a verbal recommendation!

The Funny French Canadian

I am a 28-year-old lady originally from Montreal (Quebec), now living in Vermont for organic farming and the great outdoors. I have always loved to surround myself with little ones, taking babysitting classes as a pre-teen, working at Summer camps during my teenage years and, more recently, nanny for a few families with children of a young age. I like to offer little ones comfort and care so that they feel safe exploring their natural curiosity. I am patient and believe in the importance of fostering a peaceful and positive environment as well as creating healthy habits like cooking exciting and wholesome meals from a young age. Humor is my favorite strategy when approaching discipline and challenging situations in general and have found it to be surprisingly effective with young ones!

Laura is energetic, genuine, intuitive, and thoughtful. She tirelessly puts our one year old son's safety and well being before her own needs and she genuinely wants to do the best job possible. She likes to stay busy and fills her time while he's napping by helping me out around the house and learning about early childhood development. As a homesteader and farmer, her daily life necessitates efficient problem solving and is accustomed to having curve balls thrown her way. She is resilient, self-sufficient, and self confident, yet humble. We feel grateful to have found her!
