La Jolla/ UTC Early Morning To Early Afternoon Nanny

Sorrento Valley/Mira Mesa. I am a loving, patient, high energy, organized individual who loves interacting with children. I have an instant connection and easily develop great relationships with them. When I am with your child I am totally focused and love finding fun activities together. Prior to becoming a Nanny, I worked for the school district for 6 years as a guidance assistant and worked both individually and in small groups in a non-directive play setting. One of the requirement for this program was to attend regular child development classes. I have also worked extensively with babies and toddlers. I love to take children for walks, go to the park, and enjoy reading and singing to little ones. Children that I have cared for will tell you that in addition to being kind and loving, what they like best about me is that I enjoy being silly and having fun. Infant CPR 07/2019. Tdap 09/2019. I take social distancing very seriously.

My husband and I hired Lisa to care for our three-month old son right after my maternity leave. She was amazing! The transition back to work was difficult for me, and Lisa not only took amazing care of my son, but made me feel comfortable with being away. Lisa is always on time, communicates well, and has a wonderful, nurturing demeanor. She engaged with our son all day long and made sure to keep up with his ever-changing needs. She is definitely a five-star care giver!

Experienced Overnight Doula Or Early Morning Support.

Avg response < 3 hrs
I've been a postpartum doula since 2018, trained at Bastyr University and I specialize in overnight postpartum care and sleep training. I've been working with kids in one capacity or another (from licensed early childhood education, to before and after school care and summer camps for elementary age, to teaching martial arts for children with individual needs) since the age of 17, and I'm grateful to have found my calling so early in life! I was born and raised in Washington, and I live with my husband in Shoreline. I'm excited to serve families living anywhere from Seatac to Marysville to the Eastside. My pay can be variable based on financial hardship-- let me know what budget you're working with and we might be able to negotiate! Please get in touch to learn more about my availability!

Kathryn is Amazing! She provided weekly overnight care for my son R. when he was 6-9months. She was very dependable and always right on time. I could tell right away that she is very experienced in overnight care. She also worked with R. and I on his sleep training. She help me come up with a sleep training plan that best fit my philosophy then helped to implement it. In the time that Kathryn was with us, my son went from waking up every 90 minutes to every 3-4 hours. She is a very kind and gentle person with a wealth of knowledge and a calming energy.
