Patricia K.
Early Morning Child Care — Poughquag, NY
My name is Patty. I am 29 years old and a recent college graduate. I have many years of experience being a live-out nanny for children ages 2 months up to 12 years old. I have my own car, car insurance, and a clean driver's license. I am also CPR and First aid certified as well as have certifications and training in many fields of child care, including safety, discipline, transportation, teaching, and nutrition. I am responsible, caring, and compassionate. My key skills include: understanding children's emotions and behaviors, ability to watch and care for more than 3 children at a time, as well as training and the ability to handle tantrums. I am looking for an opportunity to work for a family who needs a nanny to care for their child or children in their home full-time. I have amazing references and take my job very seriously. I understand how hard it is to not be with your child or children all day and every day, this is why I believe in keeping a nanny log to keep parents up to date on all daily activities, progress and milestones. I also enjoy and encourage throughout the day communication with one or more parents to check in, update and keep aware. I am very creative and hands on. I do not believe the television is a care taking tool other that a movie or educational short program approved by a parent ahead of viewing. I enjoy being outside, going for walks, playing music, dancing, singing, acting silly, and so much more.

La Jolla/ UTC Early Morning To Early Afternoon Nanny — San Diego, CA
Do you live in the La Jolla/ UTC area and need help getting your children up and off to school? I am available for morning through early afternoon care. I am a high energy and organized individual who loves to interact with children. In the morning, I am happy to help with breakfast, lunch prep, and will even drive your kids safely to their school. If you have babies/ toddlers at home, I believe in getting up and about, exploring the neighborhood, from flowers to cracks in the sidewalk. I tend to have an instant connection with children and easily develop good relationships with them. I have cared for children since the age of 12, from newborns to teens. In addition to the raising of my own children, I worked for the school district for 6 years. I worked with them as a guidance assistant and worked both individually and in small groups in a non-directive play setting, which helped them come out of their shell, gain confidence, learn organizational skills and time management. One of the requirement for this program was to attend regular child development classes. I have also worked extensively with babies and toddlers. Children that I have worked with will tell you that in addition to being kind and loving, what they like best about me is that I enjoy being silly and fun. Because I am in my early 50's, you never need to worry about me calling/texting my friends while caring for your little ones. I strongly believe that it is my job to interact with a child when they are in my care.
