Springfield Montessori Schools

LMI is a non-profit Preschool and Kindergarten that offers exceptional programs for children as young as 2 years 9 months. We offer supervised hands-on learning experiences that provide a strong foundation in Literacy, Math, Science, Geography, Practical Life, Art, Music, and French. We prepare children for a lifetime love of learning. LMI recognizes that children are inherently curious and eager to learn about their world. We see it as our privilege to be able to give them the opportunity to learn by active participation while encouraging the importance of self-confidence, character building and compassion.
LMI exceeds all state licensing requirements for teacher educational standards, and offers a low teacher/student ratio of 1 teacher to 6 children. Our staff takes pride in preparing each of our organized and peaceful classroom environments with new and exciting adventures on a regular basis.

The Montessori Children’s House of West Field is a licensed facility established in 1977. They provide full-day and summer programs for children ages 2.9 to 6 years old. They offer variety of activities that aims to develop each child based on their own individual needs.

The Children's House promotes academic excellence founded on the authentic philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. They craft each child’s education in partnership with educators and parents to achieve higher levels of academic, personal and social achievement.
