Nevada Home Care

Find caregivers and in-home aides to help your loved one in Nevada.

Nevada - Home Care

When a senior can no longer live at home alone, a family has several housing options from which to choose. But many seniors would prefer to remain at home and, for them, a facility would not be a preferred option. For these seniors,  home care may be the best care strategy.

What is Home Care?

Home Care  allows a senior to live at home with the assistance of aides or visiting nurses who come to their home to help out. Non-medical home care is best for the senior who does not need medical assistance, but cannot get through the day by themselves. Aides visit the senior to help with personal care, errands, or light cleaning. Skilled medical homecare is for the senior who does have medical issues that need attention (injections, pain relief, wound care) from a skilled nurse.  Visiting nurses provide a high level of assistance, but not the around-the-clock monitoring that a nursing home would provide.
