Does anyone know of an in-home service that would provide monthly hair cuts for an elderly couple in Somerville, MA?
If they are permanent residents of that area, call the person who did their hair before to see if they do home visits. If they don't do home visits, ask if they know of someone who does. Otherwise, call area salons and/or ask the local nursing home, explain your situation, they might be willing to give you the name of the person who comes to service their facility residents.
My mom had her hair done by a woman who had a salon in her home. She was willing to go to my moms house when she was unable to leave the house. Perhaps this is a good reason to create a hair stylist service app.
No! You might get lucky and hire someone who can cut hair
It might be possible to google that for an answer.
no i do not
I suggest talking to your own personal hairdresser to see if she or he would be willing to perform that service. Or you might want to check with a cosmetology/barber school for student hairdressers who need hands-on experience. When I was a cosmetology student, I volunteered for in-home, assisted-living, hospital, and funeral parlor services. I gained experience, extra credit, a great feeling and boost of confidence knowing I was able to help someone in need.
absolutely not, since i don't live their it's impossible to give you a factual information. you might want check the local library or google up the information

Check with the office of aging to see if they can give you a referral or call a home health agency. Many aides are skilled in cutting hair and they may have someone on staff who could do a home visit and provide this service.
My grandma has a stylist that comes by twice a month. My grandma lives in Malden in a adult assisted living center. This is her website ... good luck. https://icare4yourhair00.wixsi...
Check there Craig's list services or care.com
Have you checked on line for a mobile service?
Check with a local beauty school or senior center that can recommend someone to you.
Some just usually do small trim in the home if it's alright with the client and family.

I can do men and women's haircuts
More than likely the person who use to do their hair would be willing to come to their home and give a haircut, etc. My brother who owns a shop in Maryland always goes to the seniors homes who no longer can make it to his shop.
I do some hair cuts for men,if the women has short hair I can do it too
I can provide that as a cosmetologist. I happen to be a cosmetologist and a caregiver.
I found a few options online: Doorbell Barbers and Mobile Cuts. Also try your local senior care services OR the city of Somerville Council on Aging.
Call the Barber or Beauty shop that they use to use. they will know someone
Put a posting in your local social media. You should be able to have enough responses for someone reliable to cut their hair in the home.
you can check with nursing home facilities salon if they do house calls or a beauty shop if they do house calls
Post on craigslist for the need. Ask you local barbers for someone who does this. Often this is a retired barber. If your wealthy parent needs Alzheimer's care anywhere in the US, visit my profile.
