Dog Mom Wanting To Help Human Moms
Growing up in West Seattle from the 2000s to the 2010s meant I was the oldest kid on the block, so I was the go-to babysitter and petsitter. I am a very reliable, patient, and creative person who has approximately 4 years of experience caring for children, from infants to teenagers. I'm willing to do additional other tasks if requested. I love to be outside and have an endless list of fun activities and learning opportunities to share! *fully vaccinated 03/31/21 *living in Capital Hill *drives a 2010 ford fusion

Fun, Thoughtful, & Committed Nanny
Hi there! My name is Michaela. I am 26 years old and have been working as a full time nanny for the past 5 years. Prior to nannying, I also worked as an academic tutor end babysitter. I have a Bachelor's degree in human development with a strong background in early childhood education. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's degree in therapy and hope to one day work with children & families. I am currently taking care of 3 wonderful children that I have cared for the past two and a half years. My job will be coming to an end in September when the children start school. I am search of my next family to care for and would love to connect! When I am not taking care of little ones I love to read, mountain bike, and be in nature as much as possible.

Seattle family needs a part-time nanny. Must love kids! Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. Schedule Details: Could also use a few weekend days a month, if able. About the child(ren): Seeking a nanny for our 18-month-old, sweet, determined, outdoors-loving little boy. Our beloved nanny had to leave us to focus on her teacher training (yay for the kids!, sad day for us). My husband and I both work from home and have practice in staying out of your way, but Baby occasionally needs redirection away from us (especially during conference calls / video meetings). Brother-in-law lives with us and works from home as well, but stays mainly in his room/office during the day. Our family is very COVID aware and practices social distancing, and since we would be including you in our bubble, we would expect you to follow CDC-recommended safe guidelines as well (and hopefully get your shot soon, if you haven't already, as a childcare worker). We do cloth diapering and lazy elimination communication, as well as positive parenting techniques and some baby signing. Baby generally spends a few hours outdoors every day, so if you're on board to include going outside in your time with him, that would be wonderful, especially as we head into better weather. He also takes a daily nap during the times we are looking for, typically anywhere from half an hour up to two hours - ideally 1. 5-2. Lately he has been actively acting for this, but it may take some patience and time for him to acclimate to you and lock in his nap schedule. We would also like for him to get an hour a day or more of educational type play activities (numbers, colors, etc) as he prepares for preschool.
We need a nanny ~4-5 days a week for our 6-month-old baby. Schedule may vary and days can be flexible. We need help with structure and routines for her, including developmental play, support in sleep training and eating solids. Given this, it is a requirement that we find someone with prior infant experience in this age range. Some light tidying up would be part of our caregiver's responsibilities. Seeking someone to help with meal preparation for the baby. Occasional assistance with laundry would be great. Some light help with groceries or errands every so often. We need someone loving and patient who will help care for our sweet little girl. Start date is flexible (in or around early July), but we are more concerned with finding the right fit and will then work out the details.
